Solid stats, first attack feels like a waste and the entire card is outclassed by the likes of Zekrom or Thundurus. They can't Evolve of course, unfortunately I haven't heard people raving about the Electivire we've got. If strong Electivire comes out before this Electabuzz rotates out (decent window of opportunity), this Electabuzz looks strong enough that the deck won't fall apart if it can't Evolve ASAP.

Just pray you don't get "tails".

As a Basic meant to be Evolved: 7/10

Anyways, yesterday's CotD was Electabuzz from TM, kinda meh. Statwise 70 HP is good for a Basic, x2 Weakness to :fighting: sucks, -20 Resistance to :metal: is better than nothing, and :colorless::colorless: to Retreat is meh. Light Punch deals a basic 10 for :colorless: (nothing exciting), and Shock Bolt is bleh at :lightning::lightning::colorless: for 60 and a 50/50 chance of losing all :lightning: on Electabuzz. Talk about a buzz kill...

Modified - 2/10 (Electivire is semi-interesting, but still not that great, making Electabuzz also pretty much worthless)
Limited - 7/10 (Ok for :lightning: decks for a semi-big basic, bad elsewhere)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here)
