130 HP is amazing for a basic, having a weakness to steel is awesome as well. Being a water type is great in this format with all the Reshiram decks running around. Retreat cost is meh. Unlike his dragon counterparts, Reshiram and zekrom, kyurems glaciate attack has no drawbacks and it spreads. He also has the outrage attack which if he has evolite attached to him he can survive a hit from Reshiram and zekrom and ko them next turn. Most people will team this guy with feraligatr or with cobalion and electrode. This card may make an impact at cities but only time will tell.
10/10 for me

Best way to spread damage in the format, in my testing so farit has been reallt fun to play and pretty good. The problem is how to load him up...

9/10

Best spread card ever? (I suppose Rayquaza* beats it if your opponent is playing ex Pokemon).

It's got so much else going for it (Basic, HP, Outrage, brilliant Typing), that I would be shocked if no-one could make a top tier deck out of this.

The only questions are: is spread viable in a Catcher/OHKO format? and is the Energy acceleration we have for it good enough?

We will find out soon enough.

8.5/10

As BM says, people are going to make this deck good, but no one has the right answer as of yet, not saying that I do.

People are talking about this as a Reshiphlosion counter for a deck using Cobalion and Electrode. Personally, I don't think Kyurem is that great a counter to Reshi or really CKE as that successful of a deck on the whole. I feel like this deck needs to wait until exs come out for it to really contend as a top tier deck if ever.
7.5/10 right now
8.5/10 for potential

Great card for a spread deck. Outrage - DCEable, AND the ability to do up to 140 damage? Yes please! Glaciate - A great attack if you are running a spread deck. 130 HP for a basic is pretty cool if you ask me. While its retreat and resistance aren't the best, it is weak to Metal-types, which, in this format, is great. So overall, Kyurem = Amazing!

Modified - 9/10
Limited - 8/10
Unlimited - 9/10

When i look at this card i think gengar level x's attack compound pain. You only could can do thirty damage there pokemon that had damage counters on it. But this pokemon does thirty damage to all of there pokemon. Gengar x was a second stage level x card. But this is a basic!! So wow this is a power full card 9/10

I'll give it a 7/10
It's good for spreading, and it has Outrage standard for the trio. It also has the benefit of Eviolite abuse. But (all of these assuming no Eviolite) against Cobalion it gets OHKOd, against Reshiram with PlusPower it goes OHKOd, against Zekrom with PlusPower it gets OHKOd. It can't OHKO anything. It can be paired up with some good things, but I call this card only good. Not great.

Kyurem is just too good with eviolite to keep him alive - play the spread until you have to go for Outrage; combine him with Reshiram to take care of weakness (and Chansey) as well as Electrode Prime to accelerate the energies.

8/10

I think it's safe to say that Kyurem has killed any chance for Mewbox to stay competitive in this format much less rather be a playable deck in the current format still at all. Sure Mew Prime can use Butterfree HS or Togekiss UD to remove damage counters like crazy to try to get around Kyurem's Glaciate attack but even still you're stalling for the inevitable relying on discarding energies and Switch.

Also a smart player running Kyurem will prevent a Mewbox player from maxing out their damage output with Mass Attack with Jumpluff in the Lost Zone, Sure they could use PlusPower and/or Black Belt but it still stifles deck space. One deck that Kyurem is amazing in is CaKE which took storm in Japan not too long ago.

CaKE has the potential to have close matchups against TyRam, KyuremGatr is just amazing despite being a tad slow. Honestly though, Kyurem turned out to be a much better contender in this format than I expected it to be, so I give it at least a 9/10. There's a reason why Kyurem is going for $20 a piece, I think we've already proven that.

Giving it an 8.5/10. Best spread card in the format, but highly overrated. Lack of energy acceleration to get it running efficiently, great HP and outrage along with Catcher in the format. Giving it an 8.5 or a 9/10.

Lack of energy acceleration?
1st kyurem doesn't need it, so you can set up a feraligatr while manually attaching, then the rest you rain dance on to them.

Yesterday's CotD is Kyurem from NV...overall I think it's a decent card, but nowhere near as hyped as people make it to be. Statwise 130 HP is excellent for a Basic (and on par with rivals Reshiram and Zekrom), x2 Weakness to :metal: is ok (not many of them running around), no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless: to Retreat is a bit pricey. Outrage is useful at :colorless::colorless: for 20+ 10 for each damage counter on Kyurem, allowing him to deal impressive direct damage later on (or alternatively, as a type tech in decks using Reuniclus, unlike the more common Zekrom, Kyurem is a nice metagame play against the many :fire: decks about). Glaciate though, I have mixed opinions on; :water::water::colorless: for 30 to all of your opponent's Pokemon is impressive for a spread attack, but any deck using Reuniclus will be able to stall it off, not to mention the lack of direct damage leaves something to be desired; this is unlike Reshiram and Zekrom, who both deal huge direct damage and take prizes left and right, Kyurem needs time to eventually take prizes. Still, it should see quite a bit of play and likely will help into weakening the grip :fire: decks have overall.

Modified - 7/10 (A great card for :water: decks to build around with, for example slap in Feraligatr Prime and you can power up scores of them while using Gatr to finish off stuff)
Limited - 9/10 (If you can live long enough, Glaciate can single-handedly win the game for you after 4 turns of use likely, otherwise by then Outrage should be able to OHKO things)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Not that impressive here, spread decks aren't that good of an option)

10/10

I find this to be the best card they have released since Reshiram and Zekrom back in the B&W set, it is hard to combat the high HP and strong attacks these dragon legends present, and this one does a unique type of attacking that we have hardly seen any of in this format, spreading. The high HP helps make him one of the best spread cards that I can remember, due to it's survivability.
