First. Not a bad card, but not that great a card, either. 100 HP is nice for a Stage 1, Weakness to Fire kinda hurts, and the retreat is super clunky and definitely a discouraging factor. A possibility of 70 damage for :grass::colorless: is nice enough, but getting a tails reduces the base damage to 20 which is pretty bad, tho you could always run a Fliptini for slightly better odds. 80 for :grass::colorless::colorless: is better in my book, you can use it on turn two witha double colorless and it delivers a definite 80, with self-damage as a drawback. Even so, the card doesn't really redeem itself, with no Abilities to make it worth running and attacks that don't earn it a place in any deck, either.

Modified: 3/10
Limited: 8/10, not a bad attacker and easy enough to get into play being a Stage 1.
Unlimited: 0/10

I feel sorry for that dude. That boulder looks incredibly uncomfortable.

4/10

Today's CotD is Crustle from NV...eh it's kinda vanilla really. Statwise 100 HP is good for a Stage 1, x2 Weakness to :fire: is meh, no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless::colorless: to Retreat is expensive. X-Scissor is ok, :grass::colorless: for a base 20 normally isn't that hot, but a 50/50 chance to beef it up by 50 damage makes it decent on average. Reckless Charge is ok as well, :grass::colorless::colorless: for 80 is decent, but the 10 self-damage is meh.

Modified - 4/10 (It's not bad per say, but there's just no real use for it)
Limited - 9/10 (Great choice for :grass: decks imo)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Really no point in using it)

Hi everyone, wobbufet here, after being gone from the Pokémon community for a long time. I'm not quite up-to-date with the TCG, so my review might be a bit off.
Anyways, today we start off with Crustle (7/101, Noble Victories expansion). It has 100HP, completely normal for a Stage 1 nowadays. The weakness to :fire: is bad (I think??? or did Reshiram die out), and the :colorless::colorless::colorless: retreat cost is terrible, like always.
Its first attack, X-Scissor, costs :grass::colorless: and does 20, or 70 if you get heads on a coin flip. Not that useful at all.
The second attack, Reckless Charge, costs :grass::colorless::colorless: and does 80 damage, at the cost of doing 10 damage to itself in the process. Take away the self-damage, and it's an OK attack. However, they didn't.

Modified: 3/10. It's a slow card that doesn't have the capabilities required to be a good card.
Limited: 7/10. The 50% chance of doing 70 for two energy is pretty cool, and 80 for 3 is awesome, even with the self-damage.
