Now that States has wrapped, let's see how feelings may have changed!!

At first i didnt do so good with this card when it first came out so i gave it a low score on pokegym. But now im doing better with it i give this a 8.00 great card. One time i kept one shouting zekroms and reshirams with this card.

In the current format. It is too big and slow to earn a 9 or 10 ranking. I don't fear them when it comes out, if that doesnt' say it all, don't know what else does.

I ussually just catcher around King Biggie. 80 damage per turn isn't that much, then at the end I will take it on if I need to for the last two prizes.

7/10 in current modified. Playable yes, haven't seen many listed in winning states lists.

This card will rock when the new Gigalith and Terrakion EX comes out. Energy acceleration for :fighting: plus added bonus for damage counters? Count me in

ATM: 7/10
When Dragon Blade comes out: 9/10

I like this card for it's ability to tank against anything except fighting types. I can't wait to try it out with Darkrai EX for the free retreat. 8/10

I'm too lazy to go in depth, so I'll just share my ratings here:

Modified: 8/10 Having tested out a Truth variation that could have very easily benefited from this card being there, I'm going to say right off the bat that I can't believe I got convinced to trade my other one (although I got a Mewtwo EX FA for it, so I guess I shouldn't complain).

For today's CotD I guess we're taking another look at Regigigas EX from ND. Here's my original review:

Yesterday's CotD was Regigigas EX from ND...I dunno, I loved the old Giggles decks, but this just doesn't fill that void. Statwise 180 HP is about average for an EX, x2 Weakness to is meh, no Resistance is common, and to Retreat is super expensive. Giga Power is...eh... for 60 isn't that great, and having to deal 20 to yourself to deal 20 more isn't that great. Still, that extra damage fuels his next attack, Raging Hammer, which for deals 50+ 10 more for each damage counter on Regigigas EX...again, I dunno, it's just not that good in actual use; sure he has a lot of HP to soak up attacks, but a lot (and I mean a lot) of the big attackers out there can easily 2HKO him, so while he can probably get a KO in before that, you're still losing 2 prices when he goes down, not to mention the big Energy investment. So yeah, it's a more powerful Outrage, but regular Zekrom and Reshiram don't cost you 2 prizes when KOed either and their version costs 2 Energy less.

Modified - 7/10 - I'm not sold on the hype, maybe it is better than I'm giving it credit for, but just conceptually, I see it more as an average EX people are going to forget about soon enough

Limited - 10/10 - Big, splashable into any deck, big...did I mention big? Of course, the other option is to store him away safely in a binder, but why not have some fun?

Unlimited - 2/10 - I dunno, there's ways to probably keep it alive, but ER and SER drain him pretty quickly of his ability to attack as well

So...overall my opinion of it hasn't changed much; he's still slow and his main selling point is still just a beefed up Outrage while still getting 2-shotted by most attacks out there. So eh, he's flexible in some decks since he has no specific Energy requirement, but you can do better I think. Same scores all around.

Gosh, I love this card. Won me so many games at States. It's fast (as fast as Tornadus), if they hit you you can KO almost anything (Bolt Strike, good bye EXs!). With an Eviolite on it, stuff like Thundurus and Tornadus and other Gigas's don't really scare it, while it Catchers around whatever they have, kills support, then when they attack you it does lots of damage. Great card.

9/10

Best card in format for both versatility and general BA-ness...

9/10 and ONLY because of Techable Brown.

The non-FA is actually much nicer than this FA one.

What? I have to talk about the card?

I've seen it used and it seems ok I guess. If I wanted to do 80 for CCC, I'd use Tornadus, but Raging Hammer is nice enough.

7/10

I think this card is highly underrated and just as good as Mewtwo and is underplayed. (and just as hard to get)
Like mewtwo, if you have one, play it in your deck.
I like this card more than Mewtwo EX in a CMT deck.
I have donked a few at states with him starting with Celibi.
Goes a lot faster than mewtwo in taking down Durant with eviolites and special energies attached.
When going up against a mewtwo you don't have to worry about the weakness.
And if you are playing the Zekrom/Eels, its really good in taking the eels down early.

Used it recently at some events, it seemed to be used little but in the few games it was used it made a difference.

Agree with Baby Mario on the fact that it isn't an amazingly above average card...but the niche uses it has make it a good play in certain decks.
7.5/10
