One of my personal favorite Legendaries, 2nd only to Latios.

While I don't run the deck myself, it did fairly well at my States. Certainly one of our better EXs.

8/10 Great with a lot of potential.
9/10 for art. It stares into your soul.

9/10

Pretty powerful card. The main appeal is how it gets protection with plasmaklang, but what helps is that the attacks are pretty usefull.

Righteous Edge is a nice early game attack. 30 damage for one energy on a basic is never bad, but it's the bonus effect of discarding special energy that can make this a real pain. It can make your opponent think twice before dropping that DCE. In some situations, it can be more destructive than Landorus Hammerhead.

Steel Bullet doesn't hit broken amounts of damage for an EX, but a no drawback 100 damage for 3 energy is actually pretty good. It two shots everything and tears through opposing Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and your opponents metal pokemon (in a mirror match). It sets up an interesting scenario, you can't be touched by your opponents EXes, but you can tear through things that would normally protect them.

An all around solid EX with great support and is equiped to handle niche cards.

Righteous Edge is a good way to deal some early damage and set up Steel Bullet KO's on non-EX's. For decks that utilize special energies, removing one can deliver a significant blow to the opponent's strategy as well.

While the game is leaning more and more towards OHKO's, you'd be hard pressed to find many stronger attacks that don't OHKO an EX than Steel Bullet. Guaranteed 100 damage every time, ignoring Sigilyph, Bouffalant, Eviolite, etc., and it's a guaranteed 2HKO on nearly everything in the format. Standalone it isn't stellar, but it really shines when protected by Plasma Steel Klinklang. Overall, an 8/10.

9/10, I think it is one of the more underrated cards in the meta right now. Its first attack can prevent your opponent from setting up and will become only better with the release of the next set as special energy sees an increase in play. Its second attack has the ability to go through any pokemon's ability, any tool, or any condition making it really good (like a better version of Giratina's shread). Though this card may not be able to stand alone without plasma Klinklang, Plasma Klingklang would not be nearly as competitive a deck with out Cobalion EX.

It's two retreat cost is not too bad, and a fire weakness makes it avoid most of the meta-game decks that don't have a specific tech in place. A hp of 180 also puts it in the upper echelon of EXs. Will be interesting as to see if this card is able to stand on its own two feet as more and more cards come out.
