Well, I'll try to make this quick!

So, I haven't really tested much since catcher has come out. In all reality, I didn't need much, it wasn't a whole lot different than having Luxray. But, I wasn't too comfortable with any deck, but I did have some practice with Donphan Yanmega since I had pulled a few online and have been playing a bit online. I tested out some Stage 1 decks adding in Zoroark, but I felt it really killed my consistency adding in more Pokes and DCE's. I tested against Drew's Reshiphlosion list and didn't like the results I was getting and found it too hard to get what I needed when I needed it. So, I decided to run a 4-3 Donphan and a 4-3 yanmega with 3 Max Potions to help with the Reshiphlosion match and maxed out my rescue energies. I didn't get to test my list before the tournament and I wasn't entirely comfortable with my deck or my list going into the tournament, but we loaded up, drove 2 hours to Lubbock and we were set to play.

Round 1
Matt w/???
I'm not entirely sure what he was playing. I remember seeing him turning in his list for deck check. I didn't see anything on it, but I remember seeing his Pokemon list being ridiculously long. Well, I start lone Phanpy to his lone Magnemite and go first. He doesn't bench another basic and I donk him T2. Drew is beside me playing a Senior and was like "Already?" So, we play again. Drew beats the kid like turn 3 and looks over at me to see I just donked him again...lol. He complains about "not understanding how he can't hit his basics, he runs TEN basics and TWO collectors!!!" We play again for fun and we actually get set up. I remember there being Zekrom, Reshiram, Emboar, and Magnezone in there and I heard rumors later of a 2-2 RDL. We go to 2 prizes each and I EQ for 1 and KO two of my benched Pokes...the funny part, I had 2 max potions in hand. Ah well, I still got the win, on to round 2.
1-0

Alec W/Primetime
Alec is one of my favorite people in the world to play. He is a great player and just an all around good dude that I can almost always find something awesome to trade for. Anyway, I don't remember who goes first, but he starts with Magnemite active and I get a T2 Donphan. He benches another 2 more Magnemites and I hit a catcher to take one down. I have a loaded Donphan with no damage and one Yanmega in play, that was my only pokes. I have a collector and a Cheren and can't decide if I want to set up and miss a prize or if I want to Cheren and try to hit the Catcher/JA to gust up the other Magnemite. If I hit a catcher, its game over for him. If I miss, he probably gets a Magnezone and sweeps. I go for the Cheren and wiff on the Catcher. He gets a Magnezone out and judges me into a catcher and Sonic Booms. I catcher up Magnezone for the KO to seal the game. We play it out but he doesn't do much the rest of the game.
2-0

Drew W/Reshiphlosion
Drew is one of my boys from league and one of my main testing partners. I know his list well and he knows mine pretty well. He has beat me every time with this deck. Trade prizes for a while and get down to 1 each and time is called. On my last turn, I go for a catcher to gust up his damaged Reshiram and miss. I SHOULD have passed and gone for the copy cat next turn since he only had 1 energy on his active and no Typhlosions. Instead, I just EQ and give him enough outrage power to KO my Donphan for the Win...oh well.
2-1

??? W/Zoroark/Cinccinno/Audino
Insteresting idea...but, well, all her Pokes were weak to Donphan. I hit T2 Donphan and T5, I have 3 Donphans in play, two with one energy and one with three energy...needless to say, I run straight through her by gusting up anything that ever got an energy on it. Oddly enough, she beat Drew in round 2...
3-1

Victoria W/ Zekrom
We both have the worst starts ever. She can't get her Zekrom going and it takes me like 4 turns to hit one of my evolution's. But, once again, I get Donphan rolling and the benched Donphans out and just get set up better and catcher my way around her walling Tornadus and destroy anything with energy with my loaded Donphan.
4-1

So, we have 5 people that are 4-1: Me, Alec (who I beat), Ben (was the last x-0, beat by Alec Rd5), Andrew (Who beat me), and Justin. Ben and Drew are my main testing partners. Ben ran a Ness inspired Emboar list. We were fairly certain it was me, Ben, Drew, and Alec since our resistance appeared to be the highest. Final standings go up and I'm the first seed, followed by Alec, Ben, and Drew. So, I was guaranteed a VC....which, was good since I play Drew in T4.

T4 vs Drew w/Reshiphlosion
Game1
He starts lone Cleffa to my Phanpy. I am unable to donk him due to being asleep, but I get set up much quicker. He drops one Cyndaquil to ensure he doesn't get donked and I knew then I had the game. I catcher up Cyndaquil for the KO. He does get 2 Typhlosions out, but I kill both. The game takes forever (which I knew it would, lol, that' just how our matches go) and I pull it off. It was close, but I was able to maintain board control the whole match.

Game 2
I'm not sure how much time we have, but we both don't expect this game to count. He takes the first Prize and I find myself up after that having taken 3 him only taken 2. I'm cautious with dropping easy Yanma prizes for him. I wind up stalling out for time when I hit an energy dry spell but have a ton of JA and Max potions. He has Typhlosion active doing 50 to my Donphan and I just max potion it all away about 4 turns in a row until time is called. Neither of us take 4 prizes, so it doesn't count, I win!

Finals vs Alec w/Primetime
Game 1
He goes first and rolls through me pretty easy. He gets a T2 Magnezone and is just able to take prizes at will. It goes pretty quick. I hold out just in case I hit something....but I don't.

Game 2
I go first and once again I am able to swarm Donphans. I hit a T2 Donphan and catcher up Magnemites at will and have a 3 energy Donphan T3 again. I burn a lot of resources to hit my catchers and I'm stuck with one prize. At this point, he knows there is nothing he can do and he just stalls for time knowing he will go first in game three (I'm not knocking him, I did the same the round before). I FINALLY hit what I need to get my last prize and we start game 3 with about 20 minutes left.

Game 3
He goes first and hits a T2 Magnezone to donk my Donphan. So, I get second. But, I did better than I thought I would and I trade Alec for one of his old school copycat's that he kept hypnotizing me with all day, lol.

All in all, I had a blast. I got second, my testing partners Ben and Drew got 3rd and 4th respectively, and my son won Juniors (well, he was the only one, but he also was running a pretty mean Zekrom list). So, we leave with a 1st (my son), 2nd (me), and 3rd (Ben), place Victory Cups and were all pretty happy with our showing.
