I went to Oregon from Canada for Regionals. After bad experiences with Darkrai at Cities, I decided to run Landorus Mewtwo Bouffalant because it is amazingly consistent. I get to Oregon 7 hours before anyone else so I watch American television. Then I playtested for 6 hours with other Canadians.

On Saturday, I get to the venue before registration and wait around for pairings.

There are just under 100 seniors so 7 rounds, top 16 cut.
My memory is off so I don't remember most details.

Round 1 vs Christion w/ stuff
This is at 4th bottom table. He flips over a Cobalion and Klink so I think it's Klinklang, he uses great ball for the "bad" Klinklang and it's clear that he doesn't have a competitive deck. I 6-0 him with Landoors.
1-0 (btw, Landoors is plural for Landorus)

Round 2 vs Jillyan w/ entei
She starts with Larvesta so I think that it will be an easy win. It turns out that she has entei I also start no supporter so she gets to set up. It came down to clever energy attachments and her not attaching energy with grand flame for the win.
2-0

Round 3 vs Adam w/Darkrai/Hydreigon
He starts dead drawing and I win pretty quickly with Landoors.
3-0 too bad we couldn't have a better game...

Round 4 vs Rowan w/I forget :(
It was a pretty quick game again with me rolling with Landooors.
4-0

Round 5 vs Asim w/Ho-oh
I haven't really tested this matchup but I think that it is even-ish. He starts the Mewtwo war and loses. It was close though, I don't remember all the details.
5-0

Round 6 vs Colter w/Darkrai Hydreigon
Avoiding Keldeos like a boss :p.
I start Landorus and just take all Darkrais, he didn't really set up well.
6-0

Round 7 vs Hayden w/Keldeo Blastoise
He dead draws and I win in a few turns by attacking with Bouffalant and Mewtwo.
7-0!

I am in first seed and find that I am playing Connor in top 16. I find out that he is playing quad Sigilyph...

Anyways I go back to our hotel then go to dinner with Canadians at Dennys.

On Sunday, I wake up at 6 and go to the lobby to get yoghurt for breakfast!!!

I get to the venue at 745 and wait with some Canadian masters who made top and I find out that Connor is actually playing Pangaea... (yes!!!!) Then we get started playing.

Top 16 (round 8) vs Connor w/Pangaea.
This matchup is more winnable than quad Sigilyph.
Game 1 he starts Tornadus and I Mewtwo, I take 6 prizes off of Tornadus, Mewtwo, and 2 Sigilyph in a close game.
Game 2 I lose because he gets all Sigilyph and I can't attack.
Both games were pretty long so I figured time would end on the next game.
Game 3, I knew just about every card in his deck at this point, he doesn't run energy switch or healing so I am pretty confident. I end up winning when he plays down a meloetta and mewtwo so I can take my last three prizes off of them thanks to endless Landorus sniping. It was extremely close though, it came down to me topdecking an energy for the win by KOing Mewtwo with Bouffalant.
8-0
I survived, somehow. And since Colter won in top 16, I don't have to play Keldeo in top 8. I get a 5 min break and return to play.

Top 8 (round 9) vs Colter w/Darkrai Hydreigon
Game 1 I lose because of dead draws. He sweeped fast.
Game 2 I start Landorus and KO all his Darkrais, he also dead drew for a while.
Game 3 I KO Darkrais and Hydreigon with Landorus and all he has is lone Sigilyph. I win.
9-0
Now we all get 2 hour lunch breaks.

Top 4 (Round 10) vs Bradley w/Keldeo
Ugh, keldeo...
Game 1 I go first and roll with Bouffalants and winning the mewtwo war! Really close game.
Game 2 I start Landorus and lose in 4 turns.
Game 3 I engage in a Mewtwo war and after KOing a mewtwo I am down to one prize to his 2, he super rods both mewtwo back and juniper, he just needs mewtwo & 3 energy for game.... He plays down Keldeo on his last bench spot!!!! He passes and I use catcher and attach energy to mewtwo to KO his squirrel for game.
10-0. I advance to the final match against David.

5 min break

Top 2 (Round 11) vs David w/Darkrai Mewtwo Bouffalant.
He beats me in 2 games due to T1 and T2 Bouffalant that I could not respond to. His winning move was playing down mewtwo, attaching DCE, catcher-ing my Mewtwo, and triple energy switching for game.
10-1
I was so close to pulling off a "jACK pITCHER".

I still get 500 for travelling to Toronto for Nationals and two round byes.

Now I have 306 CP, almost there!
