I WAS WATCHNG THIS AUCTION HOPING TO BID ON IT BUT WAS KINDA LOW ON THE MONEY
BEEN A WHILE SINCE JAPAN HAD SUCH A LIMITED AMOUNT PROMO PRIZE CARD ONLY

Pokemon card BW-P Battle Carnival 2013 Promo Mewtwo.
It is a valuable card that was distributed to the top three in the Battle of the carnival this year. This card only 30 sheets were distributed across the country.

THE AUCTION ON JAPAN WENT TILE 200,000

ROUGHLY $2000 USD :smile:

EDIT: First auction max bid was 71,000 reserve prioe $2000
and it seem that there are 60 instead of 30 cards printed.

It was on Yahoo!Japan. Two have sold recently there.

There are 60 copies in circulation.

There were 5 events in total.. But there are definitely more than 30 copies.. As there were 4 leagues in each of the rournaments and the card was given to the top 3 competitors, there are 60 copies.. Im sure there will be more popping up

The sale prices of the two that have sold on Y!J are similar. The first one sold for 71,000 JPY (~$710) and the second one sold for 80,000 JPY (~$800).

EDIT: Darkrai* pointed out a weird error/flaw in the first auction. It shows 200,000 JPY, but the max bid was only at 71,000 JPY.

Btw, afaik the card didn´t sell for 200k yen. The maximum bid was 71k yen. 200k was probably
the asking price which wasn´t met. Otherwise there would be a buyer listed, but there´s none.
It just says: 落札者 ： なし (No successful bidder)

yeah i noticed that too for the first auction, that it max bid was 71,000

true that the prices vary but i qould say its atleast worth $500++ guaranteed

will try to get my hands on one hopefully cheaper.



seeing as the highest bids were 71,000 and 80,000 id say the card as of right now is worth $700-800
decent price for 60 cards printed.

There are more than 30 copies... the Card was given out to the top 3 finishers of the Battle carnival Events. the number 60 is more appropriate.
200k Yen is definitely a ridiculous Price since the artwork isnt new.. the second one that sold for 70k Yen is more fair..
there are a lot of newer japanese promos that are much much rarer and more valuable than this Mewtwo ex

can you give me a list of the newewr rarer promos besides the shining campaign set

2005/6 Champinos league trophy -- only 24 copies
2007 Champions league trophy -- only 24 copies
2009 Wonder Platinum 033/Dpt-P -- only 18 copies
2010 Master's Key 068/L-P -- only 34 copies

Those are the rarest newer trophy Cards.. all of those 4 are very hard to find and very few exist.
