When I see these cards, this is what I think:

SUPERDEFORMERS (Word by Otaku from a Transformers parody comic he read, and acronym contents by me):

Sorta Usable Powerful Epicly Raging Detritus Evil Foreign Over Reaching Masculine Emergency Room Sending card.

tl;dr: They're powerful as it would seem, but the restriction of 1 per deck can be EXTREMELY annoying if you plan on running both Kyurems... Also, we have Tool Scrapper coming along as well...

Not sure how good these cards will be. But either way Tool Scrapper will be a pain. At least they didn't make these kind of over powered cards for Darkrai/Mewtwo/Rayquaza/Other OP cards!

Since we don't know what it exactly does still, even if there's a 1 Trainer rule for it, going off the idea it's a regular Item, Sableye can grab it right back since there will be no Junk Arm likely...

Also I'm calling it, there has to be some bigger negative; maybe it'll cost 3 prizes if you KO while it's attached or something for example.

Am I the only one that thinks a 300HP pokemon is going to be playable whether or not the attacks stink? I mean it's 300HP people.

The same was said about Wailord from R/S having 200HP, and a few people tried it, but it didn't work out.

These Pokemon on the other hand, I don't see having as many problems. Basics have plenty of tools to work with. Pun intended.

Nothing to freak out about. It won't be playable because of the fact that you can only play 1. It is hereby banned to league decks.

300HP is considerably more than 200HP though. Call me crazy, but I think these will be played, if not highly.

With Tool Scrapper, these Pokemon Tools become obsolete. Tool Scrapper will be played a lot, just like Windstorm was played back in the day. And since "Ace Spec" specifies that you can only play one in a deck, it hurts the playability even more. Also, Junk Arm will possibly be gone when we finally get these cards, so it'll be kind of hard to pull it back from the discard.

What I'm more excited about than anything, however, is a new mechanic! "Ace Spec" cards — they're like the ex series shiny Pokemon, but in trainer form. Just want to say that since Noble Victories, each set has been pretty good at introducing new mechanics or new themes. Noble Victories was just an awesome set with lots of great abilities and good trainers (it too introduced a new mechanic in "Restored Pokemon"); Next Destinies gave us EX Pokemon; Dark Explorers had a focus on the :dark: type; Dragons Exalted is giving us new Dragon-type Pokemon...

Well now we know whats the down fall to this well really there isnt down fall just its hard to find in your deck and if it gets discared there is no way of getting it back besides sableye.

At the time, 200 HP was a lot for wailord. Stage 2 exs had 150 max, and few attacks did more than 100. Team Aqua's Kyogre, and Team Magma's Groudon were the best cards at the time, along with Blaziken Ex, the original rayquaza ex, Gardevoir RS, Gardevoir ex.

Am i seeing things or are those crystal things common? well good, I dissaprove of playable ultra rares.

Even if they end up being ultra-rare, the cool thing is this: you need only one! I don't mind ultra-rarity for these at all because of that. It's not like those Magic "swords" (Sword of Feast and Famine, etc. etc.).

I assume they will remain unplayable because of their Energy costs and Garchomp/Altaria in the format. As N3rd said, Tool Scrapper gets rid of it easily so... I don't see it becoming too big of a threat.

Lets not forget, White Kyurem's tool boosts its attacks by 50, but its not needed to OHKO a 300 HP Black Kyurem, not really a big threat if you ask me, and it may take up a while to charge, so it will probably be KO'd before it can even do anything big.

Zooming in on the pics shows me that the rarity is "R" which is the way Japanese cards designate rares. It also looks to be holofoil if you look really closely. Still, Erik speaks the truth. You only really need one thanks to the special rulings for this type of trainer.
