Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

3rd Place Masters Report-Jay Hornung

Volt: See you in Hawaii

Matamune: Thanks

Khanh: Thank You

Jayson: Thanks, hopefully I'll get to see you at some cities/BR.

Helfighter: Thank You, It was really great meeting you.

Vince: We will defenitly try and make it down this year.

Ross: The Cage Fighting thing is an inside joke. Out at Nats, We meet this girl at like 3 in the morning. Fulop has her going that I'm professional cage fighter. Good Times.

Yeah, me, Jay, and Martin end up running into this crazy girl named, and I am not even joking, " Wave" at the little hut of a "play room" in St Louis. She was pretty much hitting on anything that moved, and was talking to all of us. After an hour or so, the group of us decided to wander to get breakfast, but nothing was open by the time we got lost and found McDonalds. So we sit there and chat in the parking lot while creeps compile in front of the door. ( Yes, when you are being called a creep by a Pokemon player, it IS bad. It is like getting beat up by the Chess Club. ) In the midst of this small talk, I toss out the fact that Jay is, in fact, an undefeated cage fighter. Being the overly bubbly gullible girl she was, she bought into it until Jay's "Poker face" blew his cover. That "adventure" was quite possibly one of the best memories from Nationals.

Jay, it was INCREDIBLE seeing you in the top like that. I was rooting for you all the way.
Amazing job.
PS: in your round 6, very noble of you to write that. I made a couple Embarrising mistakes in my games. stuff like that is really hard to admit sometimes, but that's exactly why your the exceptional player that you are.
Congratulations my friend,
-ian
