My girlfriend turned 22 this week, so we had a party Friday night before the tournament. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly in the best frame of mind or health when showing up to the event. My friend asks to borrow my deck for the tournament while deckchecks are going on. I don't know why I agreed to it, but whatever, lol. I realize I have to build a deck on the spot, so I throw together this mess of a list while I have 15 minutes before registration/deckchecks end, which is posted at the end of the report. I'm still trying to remember, so details may be a bit lacking.

OK States / 89 Masters / 7 rds - Top 16

Round 1: Johnathan Garza - Regigigas/Exegutor
He Psychic Strategies me twice to 0, both to which I topdeck out of for uxies, one time with a dual ball and the other time with vs seeker for collector. Toxicroak G easily made sure I won the match though.

1-0

Round 2: Dale Lynch - LuxChomp
He's not running lucario gl, but it's irrelevant because I have to feed him 3 prizes before I topdeck an out. I bring it back to where he has to hit a L energy to win the game, if not, I sweep last two prizes. He hits it off his Oak's New Theory and wins after I made an EPIC comeback.

1-1

Round 3: Phil (roomate) - LuxChomp
He's playing a list I gave him, and while he has an explosive start, my toxicroak g is too much for him to handle, as is the OHKO's on garchomps.

2-1

Round 4: ??? - Steelix
My speed variant set up too quick for him to tank a steelix and double drawer + ensured I had what I needed when he did get the gaia crush to keep him only able to attack with it once before being KO'd. He didn't ever get to play any heal cards though, so he may have had some deck troubles. I've never gotten to really test the matchup, so i was worried about him setting up a tanked steelix. I was lucky he didn't during our game.

3-1

Round 5: Dana Lynch - Garchomp/Honchkrow/tech
I double drawer + three times...yeah, THREE times this game. Fortunately, G'dos OHKO's everything in his deck and filling my bench prevented is honch sv tricks.

4-1

Round 6: Michael Magee - Yanmega
This game was pretty intense as he judged/let loosed SEVERAL times. He also psy binded me the first 4 turns as I drew/passed, saving every trainer/supporter in my hand in case he judged. I manage to keep G'dos' out and OHKOing yanmegas till I have a 4 prize lead while he whiffed on an expert belt for a while. Good game, very stressful due to all the psychic binds and judges, LOL. Michael made an EXCELLENT showing for his first premier event, making it to top 16.

5-1

Round 7: Mike Mullen - Gyarados
He takes a 3 prize lead before I mount a comeback. This was the longest game of the day by far. I misplayed by forgetting to take a 2nd prize for KOing a belted Gyarados at one point, but the judge helped us out. He makes a misplay by picking rescue out of the discard instead of poketurn and we're both pretty sure it could've changed the outcome of the game, but it came down to my ditto finally being useful by doing 140 to his G'dos for my last prize.

6-1

Top 16: Robert Olsen? - Gyarados
G1: On my second turn I flash bite magikarp to KO, seeker up his uxie, and tail revenge his active for game.
G2: I set up 2nd turn taking prizes while he dead draws and can't portrait for anything since I run so few supporters/play any I get.

7-1

Top 8: Kyle St. Charles - LuxChomp
G1: I set up too fast, when he KO's me with luxray, I return KO with toxicroak, to which he really didn't expect. I poketurn it up and he can't take anymore prizes with lux since it'll just get return KO'd and I sweep from there.
G2: He triple flashbites his first turn to KO a karp then bright look/ko's my smeargle the turn after spraying it the previous turn as I drawer + three times in a row (played by itself thanks to junk arms) netting nothing for an out. I scoop to game 3.
G3: I go 2nd with karp and uxie, cyrus conspiracy for a collector, psy, and e-gain in case he ko's my karp with lux (his active). He triple flash bites t2 AGAIN and dragon rushes my uxie for the game, such an insane opening hand on his part.

7-2 - 6th Place
