I was told by someone that there is only one word in the english language that ends with the letters 'np.'

This has been driving me and a bunch of other kids at school crazy trying to figure it out, we tried googling it but had no luck.

Please help me out,

Thanks.

I went on this site, which lets you look up words ending or beggining with certain things, and nothing appeared.
Same with these:
http://www.findtheword.info/resultat.php?stype=ends&sword=np
http://www.morewords.com/ends-with/np/

And I also can't find anything on google either. I don't even see anything mentioning how there are no words that end with np or if there are any which is strange. But it definitely seems that there is no English word based of this.

But that's not really an English word. It is just internet slang... I mean I'm sure there are thousands of acronyms that np is used for. For example NP for Neopoints... that came up a lot.

A long time ago, my brother's teacher in 2nd grade told the class that there was 1 word that didn't how a vowel in it. Many of the students were puzzled, but one student saw another crying in the corner. He thought to himself "Yes! Cry doesn't have a vowel! That must be it!"

He told his classmates and they reported back to the teacher, but were smote as the teacher explained to them the "Y" vowel rule. They returned to their desks in dismay.

The next day, my brother was reading his Sesame Street books, and on the cover of one, he saw the word "Pssst", as in "Hey you. Yeah you. Come over here!"

He knew this must be it, if Sesame Street says it must be a real word!

His teacher gave him an "A" for effort.
