Niiiiice, so those can be gotten back with Shadow Triad. Not sure I exactly think that's a good thing, but we'll see. Considering this won't be around until post-worlds in all likeliness, not worth worrying about this stuff yet.
 
I'm not sure if Master Ball's effect is worth an Ace Spec spot. I was kinda hoping for an exact reprint of Luxury Ball as Master Ball. But it's better than nothing.

Now, the debate. Which Ace Spec becomes the consensus favorite? IMO, it's between Comp, Dowsing, Scramble, and Master. And I'm still partial to Comp.
 
For me
Comp Search where you dont have a use for Beach in evolutions
Dowsing Machine where Beach is your stadium War Winner
Scramble I like in Ho-oh and Darkrai

Master Ball- I am disappoint son.

Maybe if Master Ball could search for any two Pokemon? But yeah, I don't see it being played over game changing ACE-SPECS like Scramble Switch and Computer Search. As for the other two, G-Scope is okay, but G-Booster could be interesting, especially considering the energy acceraltion that Colress Machine provides.
 
If Genesect EX gets some kind of energy acceleration, it will be a fantastic deck with those Ace Specs.

If not, then meh. Ace Spec tools are always sketchy anyway.

And Master Ball is, to put it simply, bad. If it was not an Ace Spec, but instead identical to Luxury Ball, that would have been awesome and very welcome! But as an Ace Spec, you aren't going to run this over Computer Search, Scramble Switch, Dowsing Machine, or even Gold Potion.

Yeah, they would have been much better off giving Master Ball the same text as Luxury Ball. With the way they are making Ace Spec cards, they are better off saying you can use a total of 4 Ace Spec cards in your deck but can only use 1 of each name per deck. So far it seems they messed up the EX cards and Ace Specs.

G Booster I fully agree, but it looks like G Sniper doesn't discard, so I think that's fully worthy of a spot, especially since it can ability/Catcher a new Defending and snipe with no downside.

As for Master Ball, if it were in a format where Comp Search and Ultra Ball weren't around then it'd totally be worthy of consideration, but seeing as how that's unlikely I don't think it's very playable at the moment.

Oh man, I just noticed something VERY interesting. Take a look at the pictures of Eelektrik and Porygon-2. In the Eelektrik one you can see what looks like a Psychic-type EX. Mesprit maybe? The gem looking thing makes it seem like Mesprit. And then in the Porygon-2 picture you see what looks like an Electric-type EX, although I'm very confused since it's x2 weak for Fire (although, that could just be a error, maybe? If they use the same 1-character type abbreviations we do that could happen).
 
Master Ball seems pretty useless to be honest. Most decks will still be running the same number of Level/Ultra/Heavy ball and it's definitely not worth it over Comp. Search that has the same effect but it can grab any trainer too (with a discard of course).
 
Actually, I'm now thinking that the Electric-type EX is Genesect with a Shock Drive (I think that's the name?). The card actually changing types is weird since Genesect doesn't actually change type, but it makes sense with the Fire weakness.
 
Yeah, it looks green for sure, and its probably Genosect. The card near Electrik does look like it could be Mesprit thought... Aw, was hoping they would skip Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie, worst and most boring legends ever :/ I want a Suicune ex with ability "Purifying water" that protects your pokémon from poison xD
