I like the JPN cards for collection purposes, and the fact they do alot of promo cards we never get here, like those arceus promos with the Ash's Pikachu Lv.X, the Vs. series, and those coin-op claw machine cards, just to name a few items. Sure I got a JPN C-Zard G Lv.X, but I'll do my darndest to get a U.S. one as well, for the translation, and to have it in english for folks at league as well.

I am not much of a competitive player, that's my hubby. I do the league, and as a poke mom, to me, a Lv.X is a Lv.X, whether it's JPN, German or whatever, so it matters little to me one way or the other.

For those of you who have ALOT of japanese cards, there's always Ebay to sell them off so you can get more English ones! :)

Let's keep this thread on topic, please. This thread is to discuss trading opportunities at Worlds and how players and collectors from different countries have traded in the past and will probably trade in the future. This thread is NOT a trade thread and should not list cards that you have or want. Also, this forum is about Pokemon so let's leave the other TCGs out of it.

I agree that I think trading will continue basically as it has in the past. Not everyone trades for tournament cards. My sons and I all enjoy having different language versions of our favorite Pokemon. And promos from all countries are definitely popular for collectors.

I like how you talk as if you made the thread. I made the thread as I do every year I am going to Worlds to let people post for what they will be looking to trade for at Worlds (Pokemon or not) and what they will be wearing so people can find them. Obviously some people will be looking to trade away there Japanese cards to the Japanese players since they won't be legal next year or they might be flat out getting out of the game unless they can trade for enough other English cards to replace what they are loosing as I would be. If people are talking about Pokemon cards or not no matter what it is talking about trades that will be made at Worlds and therefore it is totally on topic.

And why is it that my post that is totally on topic gets deleted but Freezer and ashinto posts that were both complettely off topic are still here:rolleyes:

I did not make the thread but I have been given the task of helping to moderator it. You are making that a very difficult task so, click, "your" thread is closed.

For those of you who are following the thread and want to discuss and trade correctly, you are welcome to do so. All trades on Pokegym need to be completed in the trade forum and must be Pokemon only items not other TCGs. If someone wishes to continue a conversation about generic trading at Worlds, please start another thread.
