Many of the Pokemon TCG community plays more than just pokemon, but for those who are looking for a new game to play this is the thread for you!
So let me ask you pokemon community
What do you think is the best CCG/Online game besides Pokemon of corse!
This can help others get into a new game while they are playing pokemon.

Please post why you think they should play the game and why you think it is fun!

I play the game Sacred Seasons. It's just a game where you pick a warrior type then get weapons and run around killing monsters. You also get gold and silver which you use to buy stuff.

I used to play Magic: The Gathering, back in the day. Fallen Empires was the last set that came out, before I quit playing. It is a lot of fun to play, and there are alot of mechanics to the game play. It is worth checking out, IMO it is way better then Yugioh.

I play an online game called Pirates of the Caribbean Online. It's like the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, but you wander around the Caribbean doing quests, killing skeletons and navy soldiers, and hanging out with thousands of other pirates. Pretty fun :)

MTG, more thought and strat than YuGiOh, and cheaper, which should appeal to Pokemon players.

i used to play World of Wacraft, but then i got banned for something i didnt do >.>
anyway, it is based around the warcraft universe and it is a pay to play game. there are currently 3 games out which you HAVE to buy: World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft : the Burning Crusade and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.
another expansion is set to be released next year and it will seriously mess up the game world...so i was going to quit anyway :p

anyway, it's fun and has a wide array of playable races and classes. there is PVPing as well as PVEing. it's real fun for a while...and it can be quite addictive

^I used to play WoW too, but then I got bored. You don't NEED to buy Lich King and Burning Crusade to play the game, you just won't have access to certain things, which isn't that important until you are about level 50-60.

I play yugioh and magic. Yugioh fuels my need for fun competition. I also like schooling players with cheap rogue decks and making their 100+ decks look like crap.

I really don't have too many magic cards, but I do know hou to play. When I do play, I play multiplayer with my friends.

The only other CCG/TCG I really ever got REALLY into was Magi-Nation, which is sorta dead (I am not going to go into it as it would be a fairly long post and I am sure somebody can make it short, but not me).

I have played MTG before and it is pretty fun. I like playing it during long breaks in between Pokemon events (Feb Pre-Release - SPTs)

I play Team Fortress 2. Its a great fps that suits a wide range of skill levels, also the art style is fantastic.

Has anyone heard of the TCG game Kingdom hearts? I have heard its really fun.

yeah. it is quite a fun game. the new set makes where any new player can get into the game with a decent deck.

how about naruto? i've been playing that on the side and it's amazing what you can pull off mid game

Yu-Gi-Oh is a terrible game...

I say that as someone who took the time to learn how to play from a friend and play in a tournmanet..

The game is one thing...the SotG and the players is a whole other issue

MapleStory FTW?

I've played it off and on since Jr.High (which is like when the US server came up). Not all that bad I guess and it passes the time. Grinding can get a lil old though if you don't play with friends or make some in game. Definitely not bad if played in small doses, but not to say it's horrible if you don't
