This might be a bit early but why not bring it up
For the record, I don't want to come off as biased, obnoxious, or as a complainer, but here is a serious suggestion for a location that hasn't been used for Worlds yet that may or may not make a lot of people very happy.
New York, New York
The last time Worlds was on the East Coast was in 2008, and since 2004 that was the only time Worlds was on the East Coast. I have no problem with Worlds being in Hawaii every now and then, but people on the East Coast and in Europe get shafted every time. I'm not sure what it costs Foreigners to travel to San Diego, but it is still a bit of money for people on the East Coast
Now I'm sure people will bring up the argument that NYC hotels cost a lot of money, however a certain location in New York City will solve that problem.
The Jacob Javitz Center (not sure if I spelled that completely right)
Why this place? How will it solve the problem of Costly hotels? This venue is one ferry ride over the Hudson River away from New Jersey where hotels don't cost as much. The convention center is huge, and I'm not sure how much it costs to rent out, but I'm sure it can't cost as much as Hawaii.
I'm sorry but after you hold Worlds in the same 2 venues for 4 years, people are going to run out of stuff to do. After one trip to Hawaii I ran out of stuff to do. NYC has tons of stuff to do. There is something for everybody so.
I don't know what anybody else thinks about an idea like this, but I would like to get some opinions.
