About Notetaking in another Language

Hi,
I was just wondering, When note taking after looking at your prizes, Are you allowed to write the notes in a language that you fluently speak/is your background language? or are you supposed to write in English

(This is for a world championships environment)

I have heard you have to make Notes readable by judges, If the opposition player asks a judge/translator what the text in my notes read, are the judges allowed to tell the opponent?

Thank you.

The judge needs to be able to understand notes.
Obviously, in the case of Worlds, players can make notes in their local language.
That is what the translators are there for.
However, that does not mean that anyone can make notes in any language that is not their local language.
The translators are not there to run all over the place helping with matches that shouldn't need their help.
They are busy enough with the matches that DO need their help.

The current rule for note-taking is that it has to be understandable by a judge if they want to review it to help straighten out a game state issue or some such case, but they are private in that your opponent does not get to see or hear them.
