Allright I think I finally know how to run this deck now. I know it seems self explanitory. But this is the fastest most consistent way I could run this.

22 Pokes
4 Dunsparce(Yes, dunsparce is going to have to do better than Wurmple here.)
1/1 Dodrio
1 Jirachi HL
3/3/3 Victreebell
3/3 Weezing

11 Grass
2 Dre

3 Copy Cat
3 Prof. Oak
2 Bill
4 Celio's
2 Retriever
4 Swoop!
3 Warp
4 Reversals

Once again energy search is a joke. I have 4 extra slots. I am unsure of what should be more important in this deck. The energy clearly needs work. Also I'd think ER2 is a good ingredient in this type of deck. So would a few gyms... But im not sure. Any one have 4 cards to add?

The main idea of this deck is your opponent plays an ex. You defeat it with one energy and game is handed over to your kamikaze playing behind. If you are not playing against an ex. Well you pretty much lose, because you knock yourself out first and there is no tie break. But none the less playing this deck will increase my playing abilities and I have had these cards ever since states... I just never thought this deck actually works.

I'd definitely look into Desert Ruins, the card that can replace Victreebel in this deck against EX's.

Yeah, I've been digging around for a Victreebell replacement. It's such a hard card to put out. But nothing works the same. Desert ruins is a great idea prime, especially since playing against an ex in this deck is the only way to win anyways. I'm arguing with myself on this one already.
Ideas:
Candy!
Venture Bomb! (hahaha)
Pow!
ER2!
Reversal!

Nosepass! (Magnetic Reversal!)
This card could actually be genious. It's a perfect card to send out after retreating victreebell with retreat aid. Send out try yourself a reversal, then swoop! for koffing, evolve and liability some poor poke...
This must now go into consideration.

In the next format, there will be no more Mr. Briney's Compassion, only making a Liability from Weezing even worse on a non-ex. Theres a stadium in the set after Unseen Forces that hits all pokemon with Powers for 10 damage in between turns. I could see that being played with Desert Ruins to OHKO almost any pokemon. Until then, you could try using DX Plusle. It helps get out Pokemon like dunsparce, but also for just one L energy, you can deal 20 to all pokemon with powers on your opponent's side. Hit a pidgeot for 90, they free retreat, you plusle it for the KO.

The only problem I see right now is that once Weezing KO's itself, you send up a pokemon and your opponent could KO that too and still even up the prizes/go ahead on prizes. You could try DR Shedinja and send that up after you use Weezing, so they most likely couldn't KO it. You then free retreat it (Dodrio or switch or retreat or warp point or balloon berry, etc.). Then send up another Weezing, POW up another pokemon and liability that.

If you could fit in a pokemon that hits all the opponent's pokemon for 10, POW! would combo with that. You liability a pokemon for the close but not yet KO, they retreat, you POW! (your weezing got KO'd, your low on prizes), up another one of their big hitters. Liability that. Now their two strong hitters have almost all but 10HP left. Next turn, hit with gyarados/etc for 10 to everything and just whipe house. You've lost 2 stages 1s with 2 energy, they've lost their two major attackers.\

I dunno. I do know that I love Weezing and I wish I had 4 of it because I would so try out ideas with it. It's so much better than HL Electrode!

Good luck with the deck.

Pokemon Reversal. Definatelly. Nothings funner than using Reversal on a Bex and KOing it that turn.

Next best choices:
Desert Ruins
Pokemon Retriever - whoops, you already have those, never mind.
Wallys - This is such an under-rated trainer. Play a koffing, retreat Victreebel, attatch energy, wallys, blow up. I know it doesn't sound easy, but the payoff is huge.
exp. all - attatch them to koffings if your Victreebel's about to be KOed. Not the best idea, but a possibility none the less.

-4 nrg search
+2 candy
+2 desret ruins
-2 bill
-2 retiever
+4stevens
when dunsparce is rotated out:
-4 dunspacre
+4 deoxys wurmple or plusle
and maybe, just maybe, because what prime was talking about doing 10 to all of your oppponent pkmn:
-1 jirachi HL
-2 swoop
-1 warp point
+1 grass
+1 whismur HL
+ 1 loudred HL
+1 exploud HL
its a stretch but if you get exploud out as your active for 1 energy you can ten everything. But i know thats a big stretch. the upper part of this post is more reasonable. I feel that HL exploud is one of the most underated cards in the game. It really makes a good deck. Hope this helps!

Pow/Reversal = very yes.

It is absolutely CRITICAL in this deck to be able to take out the pokemon you need dead, when you need it dead. Whether its their draw (pidgeot) or their attacker being powered up (bex or something), you need kamikaze weezing to kill something more important than a Sparce. If thewy hide behind their sparce while you're trying to charge a Victreebel, they will set up and you'll have a hard time gaining any ground.

I think the remaining four spots should be used for Spoink. Or desert ruins ;x

You could always try out the new Typhlosion (GS).

Similar body.

Typhlosion + Weezing + Venture Bomb + Desert Ruins + Cursed Powder/Sitrus Berry

Or something like that.

i think the best thing you can do is
3 dark crobat
4 weezing
4 low pressur systeme

so you always kill first until you win .....

Next format you can just stack cursed powder on weezings..

Would that work? Where if you KO, you put 3 damage counters, that's overkill. What a broken combo >_>

^weezing+cursed powder+big stump=draw, n00b. j/k. but seriously, i think victreebel is the best option to go w/ weezing. dark crobat is ok, but it's not that great of a hitter in the meantime. u would have to run crex, and that is already a thin spread of resources. and typhlo is kinda...weird. he hits himself. u could try umby when uf comes out. jmho.

Cursed Powder doesn't work on Weezing because it's getting knocked out not because of an opponent's attack, but because of it's own attack.

Cursed Powder (Pokemon Tool)
If the Pokemon that Cursed Powder is attached to is active and is knocked out by damage from an opponent's attack, put 3 damage counters on the Pokemon that attacked it. Cursed Powder can only be attached to an evolved Pokemon (excluding Pokemon ex). If a Pokemon already has a tool attached to it, you can't attach Cursed Powder. If the Pokemon Cursed Powder is attached to becomes a basic Pokemon or a Pokemon ex, discard Cursed Powder.

aww, shucks! power root will definitely help out the deck. i think that weezing/umby ex could be very cool. here's a decklist off the top of my head.

4 Koffing(knockout gas)
4 Weezing
4 Eevee
3 Umby ex
1 Espy ex (for tech)
2 Slowpoke
2 Slowking UF (to search for Power Root)
= 20

3 Reversal
4 Power Root (to replace LPS)
4 PETM
3 Lanette's Net Search
4 Mary's Request
3 Super Scoop Up
2 Desert Ruins
2 of that stadium that deals 10 to power pokes
=25

4 Dark
4 psychic (to get out an espy)
7 Grass
=15

it doesn't look that good, but it can be worked on. so basically, u get a slowking to search for the roots, and then just gust up a poke w/ a power or an ex, have out the appropriate stadium, evolve an active koffing, attach power root, attach energy, and liablity to ko. any suggestions?

LPZ+weez+powder =P

but yeah, stadium war pwnage in the future with weezings.

ruins/10 damage, roots/lps... the deck would be so hot.

22 Pokes
4 Dunsparce
1/1 Dodrio
1 Jirachi HL
3/3/3 Victreebell
3/3 Weezing

12 Grass
2 Dre

3 steven advice
3 tvr
2 adminl
2 wally's
4 Celio's
2 Retriever
4 Swoop!
2 Warp
4 Reversals
3 desert ruins

the best stadium for this deck would be team magma's hideout (does 10 to a poke when comes into play)
Weezing places damage counters until they are 10HP away from being KOd, regardless of how much damage is on the Poke already so TM Hideout would just place 1 less counter.

The 10 damage has to occur after Liability takes place, which is why the best options are D. Crobat, Victreebel and Desert Ruins.

- D. Crobat benefits from R. PokeBall but Battle Frontier, Muk and Medicham stop the Power so I would be carefull about that. You can knock out BF, no problem and Desert Ruins will take care of Muk and Medicham so its not impossible, just that its hard to gurantee having the cards when you need them.

- Victreebel is great because its a damage counter so its more reliable than poison and can only be stopped by Muk ex. The problem is the ability to develop 1 or 2 Victreebel in time when you have a limited number of Trainers.

- Desert Ruins only works against exs so I won't even waste my time.

You could always go with Nosepass or R. Sneasel ex but then you risk giving up 2 prizes and not getting the 1 or 2 in return. You pretty much have to KO the Pokemon before they attack to make the deck viable, otherwise you are giving up way too much.

Reversal is a neccessity and I also prefer to SAR or whatever the starting method and let your starter die then you can use Pow! as an added bonus.

The biggest issue with these decks is being able to deliver a KO without Liability. None of the complimentary Pokemon are noteworthy attackers so unless you're facing exs you will be in an uphill battle the whole match.

After UF is released Weezing decks will sprout up all over the place and have the potential to be "the deck." By playing the Stadium game, almost everything is a OHKO. In the mean time, Low Pressure System at least forces your opponent to kill Weezing rather than you killing yourself.

I was thinking about Marowak with Weezing for an almost guranteed 90 damage. Lanturn is also a great choice if you're playing LPS.

ATM Rock can be deadly if you can Liability, Pow! a benched Poke, repeat a couple time then Rock them like no other.

In conclusion, I like these Trainers in my Weezing deck:

Scott
Pokémon Reversal
Pow! Hand Extension
Pokémon Retriever
Ancient TM [Rock]
Low Pressure System
Desert Ruins

That's not everything, obviously, but that's the general idea. I'm still playing with the deck so I don't have a rock solid list. Victreebel is tempting but for now my Pokemon are just T2 style.

As a side note, Hariyama will give Weezing fits but Manectric is the ultimate Weezing counter so watch out for both of them. Vileplume ex will beat Weezing but you should be able to get around that easier than the other 2 because Vileplume usually requires a bench, so it is Warpable.
