I'm going to make this short. Ever since Expert Belt and the new Gengar AR came out, I knew I wanted to try it out in my existing Gengar deck. Since then I've made some changes, but it's still the deck I've been playing.
Round 1 Grass deck
My opponent got a shaymin, a treecko, and a Tropius. He was trainer locked the whole game while I shadow skipped him.

Round 2 Chris Fulop w/ Gengar Tomb
My start was great. His wasn't. He didn't have a supporter for like 5 turns, after I'd taken like 3 prizes. He started getting a little something at the end, but my start was too far up on his.

Round 3 Hoolon Mike w/ LuxApeChomp
He's a friend of mine, who I knew had no counter for Mewtwo LvX. Karma came back to bite me here. Now I didn't get any supporters for like 5 turns. Problem here is, SP decks take prizes fast, so I wasn't able to set up at all. He takes out my baltoys and spiritombs quick. I have a mewtwo on the bench ready to be leveled up, but couldn't get a bebe's to level it up. Oh well, GG

Round 4 Ttar Champ
I put an unown G on my Azelf start, retreat for spiritomb, set up a Gengar AR, and shadow skip for the rest of the game, avoiding using powers to power up his Ttar, retreating different Gengars and healing with Nidoqueen.

Round 5 Stephen "Girafarig" M w/Gengar Tomb
Mirror, ugh. He gets good start, I don't. He takes the first couple, I start making a comeback. I get a heads to fainting spell his powered up Gengar AR. He has 1 prize left, and no out, I have 2 left. He wagered me the turn before and I got my fighting energy. I drew my Relicanth as a prize. He benches a spiritomb and a gastly and passes. He has a stadium and a tool on the bench. I snipe Gastly, he goes and passes, I snipe spiritomb. I can't believe I beat him, great game Girafarig.

Top 8. I'm in, and I'm playing another mirror, Scotty D.
I know to focus on shadow room against the mirror. I do so, but we take turns swappig prizes. at the end, I need one prize, he needs 2. I decide to take a chance (I was out of Night Maintence and energy, only a powered up nidoqueen) so I expert belt it and KO a shadow room gengar, gg. Game 2 we play fora bit and then I play a roseanne's, he scoops. GG scotty!

Warp Points were my friend here. I Shadow skip, curse, and bring up a fainting spell gengar to hope on the flips. I don't land one the whole game, and when we get 1 prize to 1, she has a full health Gyarados versus all of my damaged dudes. I roseanne's for a relicanth and fighting energy, and snipe a sableye for game. Game 2 has less than 20 minutes. we trade a couple of prizes, I stay ahead, but it didn't matter as time got called, Great job!

Top 2 versus Matt N and Awesome Dusknoir
So he played Lumineon, relicanth, AND Dusknoirs (Including Dark Palm). So I had to try and keep only 2 bench (if I had 3, he's just fin luster me, and then dark palm. I go agro gengar, and we take turn on prizes. He dark palms me a couple of times, so I try to avoid it as much as possible. At the end, I had the roseanne's to relicanth the claydol for the last prize. He super scoop ups and gets rid of the claydol. he drops a relicanth. I shadow room it, survive the dusknoir hit, and then relicanth the relicanth for the win. We had like 5 minutes for game 2, so we play it out for a bit, I drop a bunch of basics and time gets called. Good Job Matt, I really liked the new twist on the old deck.

Good day, unfortunately one person from our car pool had his Lvl X binder stolen. I had mine stolen during the Fall BR at the same place. I hope this doesn't continue to be an issue here!
