I don't know how Ditto works, so I just threw that out as a possibility.

Sure, doesn't change the fact that they're still bad and should be avoided whenever possible.

Uh, how is that a "fact"? That would be your opinion. 1-0-1 Dusknoir was standard back in the day because ti was so devistating to get out, but rarely a main strategy. I could see this happening for the new Dusknoir, maybe Empoleon or Venasaur too, where you don't want to dedicate much deck space, but with Ditto boosting the consistnacy of it, you are able to fit this things in easier. Obviously they arent as consistant as 4/3/4 lines, but they take such a fraction of the deck space its not even comparable.

They translated computer search to get 2 cards from deck, but its really one.

Rival seems decent. Both players make their hand 5..

Stoutalnd... omg
That with garbador...

The 'unknown' shiny is Golurk, btw. (Beach has terrak listed twice)

The second half is kinda bad, meh :/ Still some nice cards but why the hell is there so much junk in the second set? Audino is fun though :D

Jellicent seems interesting if the Ability stacks. +4 retreat to anyone would be neat.

Scolipede line all having Poison Point is really nice and how IT SHOULD BE.

Raticate CCC for 170 on an EX is nice. Poison for the OHKO.

Pokemon can often be hard to predict... and I don't have the time anyway.

So I'll stick with the Trainers.

Audino: I am counting as an Item with perks. XD It is a big if, but should Special Conditions become potent, this is a solid deal. Why? Because it ends up being a pseudo-Trainer that Pokemon search and recycling cards can snag.

Escape Rope: We've been waiting for you Warp Point. I figured you'd just change your name to 'Warp Tile' but we are just glad to have you back. :)

Town Map: The classic problem for this kind of card... one is great and every other copy is dead afterwards.

Hugh: Disruption decks have another friend. It isn't brilliant, but it's something. An opponent with a huge hand is in real trouble, and my play-testing has been one of extremes; either my hand is too small to be hit or it's been plumped up and this would discard like four cards. For a disruption deck, this could be the back-up to N.

Virbank City: Calling it damage and not "damage counters" makes me a little leery. I am thinking this is just meant to turn Poison into "triple" Poison and not flat out add to the base damage counter placement (e.g. if you already have triple poison from an attack, it'd do nothing). Speculation though, pure speculation.

And out of time!

I want to ride my bicycle!

More quick breakdowns:

Vileplume: I like it. Cool potential
Bellossom: Not so good. Doubt we'll see Bello techs this time around.
Heracross: Same card they've been regurgitating for the last while. Really a shaem they keep trashing such an amazing Pokemon.
Combee/Vespiquen: Kinda weird. They don't have the raw power or synergy as the last ones. Mediocre.
Whimsicott: It could work i guess. Not inherently great though.
Charizard :D Hard not to like Charizard. But no where near as hard as trying to maek that thing playable. Ugh.
Darmanitan: Probably the best Darmanitan, but that isnt saying much.
Azumarril: Nope.
Mamoswine: So much coin flip, not my cup of tea.
Delibird: Maybe in decks already running Vicitini. Maybe. Prolly not.
Jellicent: He's jelly of Darkrai, but otherwise is interesting.
Zebstrika: Well thats interesting. Self energy accel of a different type. Cool. Bad card though. This half set sucks so far.
Grumpig: As usual, situational Grumpig that costs too many energy.
Munna/Musharna: Ugly art, but i like the way they work together.
Scolipede: He really likes the new stadium. Everything in the line Poisons on contact. Combined with the stadium, this guy actually has perfect math for the format. 30/140+30 will Ko any ex Pokemon going into their turn, menaing they have to attack Scolipede again and restart the whoel mess. Not bad.
Meloetta: Better than the other Meloettas, but not usable imo.
Gliscor: Fighting type hit and run. I like it.
Lunatone: Ether's BFF
Meinshao: eh.
Landorus t ex: I like it a lot.
Liepard: awful.
Flygon: Great synergy with Dusknoir, but such a weird energy cost. Maybe use hit and run attackers.
Black-Kyurem ex: Loses to Exploud, horrible.
Raticate: o_O. Raticate ain't playing games anymore. Add in some Poison and allways one shot anything. WOW. I am seriously impressed. Liability without the self knock out. Raticate 2013. You heard it here first. Also, how amazing is this thing with Dusknoir? put 170 damage on an ex. Next turn, move it around the field to ko other stuff and do it again. Wheee. And you can play chicken with this guy and Flygon. So much potential. SO. MUCH. POWA!
Lopunny: I am still obsesseing over Raticate. SHut up stupid bunny.
Unfezant: SOOOOO Bad.
Audino: Interesting. I kinda like it.
Escape Rope: I HATE THIS CARD. I love Warp Point, and i held on to my favrotie Warp Point arts in case they ever reprinted it. And now i can't use them, even though they brough it back. FFFFFFF
Town Map: Nice little one of for kicks.
Hugh: Very situational. Hugh and N will be shennigans together. But i like the option.
Virbank: Cool city name. Love the art. Okay card, need better poisoners.
Gold Potion: Its okay, Cool with Crustle. But meh.
Crystal: Blah blah we know.
Cheren: YAY
Terrakion: NO. He got a FA, he doesn't need a shiny. Stupid and lame.
Rocky Helmet: WHAT. Even worse than Terrakion getting one.
Golurk: Cool :D

Raticate is an awesome card.To bad its easily koed though.

Actually, that's a good thing. It allows you to promote Flygon and score a ko on the Pokemon it attacked. It's a call back to an old deck called Liability. The only downside is the attack cost.

Anyway, not to spam the thread, but here's a quicklist of things that seem to have potential (not including shines/fa supporters):

Vileplume
Jellicent
Scolipede
Gliscor
Lunatone
Landorus ex
Flygon
Raticate!
Audino
Escape Rope
Town Map
Virbank
Gold Potion
Hugh
Celebi ex
Liligant
Blastoise
Keldeo ex
Dusknoir
Toxicroak
Swoobat
Ditto
Exploud
Delcatty
Stoutland
Bike
Ether
Skyla
Aspera
Computer Search

30 new potentially good cards. That's not a bad haul! Exs are pretty dissapointing though.

Now will people start working on decks now lol? There is nothing to play right now....plus I'm not even sure Alteria is coming out in August....

So the way I'm reading ditto is that you can put an EX pokemon on it and use its attacks and if ditto gets ko'd your opponent only gets one prize?

I really doubt this. They wouldn't give us a free 1 prize Pokemon ex that you can run 4 of in a deck just for kicks.

@Yoshi: But Cress is baaad. 4 energy attack, weak to MEwtwo. Super meh.

Its a Basic Nidoqueen, if it has no energys it takes no damage from mewtwo, just play him down on the bench oo
