Or u can just play 3 Lost Worlds and raw into it and save room in your deck for more better cards that cant get sprayed lol.

I'm not saying it's good, but that's basically why he's suggesting it in the deck. lol

And Recover Energy is going to be ridic in Gyrados. WHY WON'T THIS DECK DIE. :(

IDK. It didn't work that way for Dusknoir SF. If he's sprayed he takes no damage.

Electrode Prime says, if you use the poke-power, Electrode is KO'd.

Dusknoir says to draw cards, then place two counters on Dusknoir.

In dusknoir's case, the placing of the damage comes after the drawing. If you cancel the drawing, you cancel the damage placement. For Electrode, the KO'ing comes instantly after activating the poke-power. The KO is not an effect of the Poke-Power, as it's not worded "then KO Electrode."

It's the same as the ruling of Electivire FB lv.X that say, if you use this poke-power, your turn ends. If you power spray it, their turn still ends, but they get no effect.

Can someone tell me how this new Lithograph replaces Azelf?

1. We still have Azelf to use
2. Lithograph is not searchable, meaning you have to have more than 1 in your deck to use it consistently
3. Lithograph doesn't let you take anything out of your prizes, meaning your in the same position before and after you use it.

IDK about replacing it now, but in the future for sure, in this format and the next, it's pretty easy to obtain a prize, so rearranging prizes and then nabbing one is kinda like time walking.

4. Its LOL-1-in-3-boxes-RARE

(ie good luck replacing a near ubiquitous $10 card with a $25 one)

^ But there are quite a few cards that let you put a specific card on the top of your deck. Delcatty PL & Good Rod are a few examples.

1. And now with Rotom and Lith, we have options. We had Ninetales to use, but most decks still used Dol. It depends on what you want the card to accomplish.
2. Really? No cards search for Trainers? Farfetch'd SF wants a word with you. Don't worry, i get that that's not entirely viable, and agree that's the major reason that Graph won't get staple status (it's not that easy).
But consider the Trade Off of Azelf/Lithograph. On the one hand, Azelf seems superior, being a searchable basic that can actually fish something out of the prizes. But also consider that it is a power, which between Psychic Lock (thank you Grumpig, for keeping this a valid point), Psychic Bind and Power Spray, isn't guaranteed to work, it takes up a spot on your bench and is often the 1 prize difference for Machamp/Gengar/ERL/Garchomp. Alph is a trainer, meaning its harder to nab, but won't take up a spot on the bench and will be stopped by Spiritomb/Vileplume.
3. While often times this si how Azelf works, there are multiple times where i've used it, seen either no Pokemon, or nothing i want, and just used it to know where key cards are. Seeing where that Garchomp C is and having a bench spot open for him can be much more helpful then getting him into your hand and having him sit there til your opponent takes a prize.

I am pretty sure we have two more primes left to see from the Japanese theme decks.

and if you are losing because of a prize then you can probably just use twins for the lith+rotom.

Yanmega looks good you can use coppy cat or judge to get the same amount of cards but one thing sucks about that is that you cant use any of the cards you just got from copy cat or judge yanmega can be a qucick card but this isnt my favorite set lol i think machamp and machamp prime looks good electrode prime is great with dilga and palkia legend and dexoys and rayqyazza legend im glad that a new porygon z is comeing out i think this will be out in the next set and that porygon z is a strange card i would use promo porygon z nido king would be excellent with the riseing rivals nido queen i think im going to make a deck for that and ditto is sorta like the dp dusknor but not as good yes....

Periods are your friends.

Sometimes.

"You can use this power once during your turn, if you use it, this Pokemon is Knocked Out."

When you power spray a poke-power, it still counts as being used. I'd rule it that the Electrode Prime is still KO'd. Lame, I know. :frown:

I can see electrode used as a tech, but does anyone think it can stand alone?

tl;dr -- confusion will continue until PUI/whatever alphabets declares a standardized way to distinguish trigger costs from effects of powers. The current wording is helpful but not always crystal.

think the electrode will have a ruling similiar to Regigigas Lv.X sacrifice, which btw doesn't have a ruling on what happens if its power sprayed in the compendium.

Rotom will replace Azelf IMO
I hope we finally have that Japanese promo trainer card when Azelf rotates out. It's so much better than Alph Lithograph. xD

But for next season, let's not hesitate to use Time Walk - remember, we got rid of Dusknoir DP. =)

Electrode Prime, Lanturn Prime, and Rescue energy. Lol.

Sounds like fun, but have you ever played Interviewer's Questions? Look at top 8. At best I've pulled 3 energy, most often just 1 or 2. Seems hardly worth sacrificing a prize.
