Alph Lithograph rarity

Wow, I never realized they were this rare. Both myself and a friend of mine got 1 Alph, 1 RF Gyarados, and 1 foil Gyarados in each of our boxes.

How in the world this happened, I'm not sure, but I wound up pulling Alph Lithograph AND Donphan PRIME in the same pack the other day

Primes take the place of RHs so it is possible to get alph lithograph and donphan prime in the same pack but it is highly unlikely. Congrats on your pulls btw.

i dont get it,how come the alph thing and red gyrados are so rare but worth so less? i just checked ebay though =/

One pack that I opened had an Alph Lithograph and an Ampharos Prime in it.

Probably because they have almost no playability? Gyarados is horrible and you won't see Alph Lithograph in any deck except maybe Gengar (but not likely).

Don't forget that a lot of collectors will buy the Japanese versions months before they hit US/ rest of world.
