Altaria PT sleep req.

Altaria's Perish Song attack states that:

If the Defending Pokemon is asleep and was damaged or affected by Midnight Eyes during your last turn, the defending Pokemon is Knocked Out.

i have 2 questions for this.

If that pokemon wakes up and i use Darkrai MD's Darkness Shade to put it back to sleep, does Perish Song's affect go off? and what if it wakes up by evolving? Would it still count as being damaged by Midnight Eyes?

This is in the Compendium ex from when Perish Song was first introduced.

There are two seperate conditions.
It had to have been attacked by Midnite Eyes the previous turn and affected by it, either by damage or condition.
And it has to be Asleep now. That sleep doesn't have to have been from the attack.

If it evolved since the attack, it's no longer the same Pokemon that was attacked.
