John L. runs mutant events at mostly every prerelease. We play that you can only level up as normal as leveling up isnt considered evolving. Also, we play that baby evolution can either be considered a basic or can evolve using the normal evolution power, as per the example

uses a baby to a basic which is pretty much evolving a basic into a basic. That is just how we have played it, it keeps the rules how normal pokemon play is and also keeps it fun.
 
I know a store that has some OLD Japanese Pokemon cards. I'm not 100% certain what sets they're from. Are those good?
 
Yea! Myself and my two kids will be there. Glad to see the earlier starting time. Midnight has been too late for us. I will try to bring 18 Gym Challenge Packs. Would be really nice to pull a Brock's Ninetales and Shapeshift an Ex on top it !

Sorry bullados but no foreign cards, Then we would have to have translations, yikes!

Haven't we always had this problem? Pre-ex series packs are 11 cards...

Older packs found in the cellar. Jungle, Gym Heroes, Exedition, & Skyridge. Thinking of bringing Jungle. Don't know how many will be playing.
 
Way kewl! We never know what will be at the event nor what prizes we will have but we always make sure we have prizes for most if not ALL the players. We do our best. Remember most of the prizes are donations from all parts of the Pokemon Family and they are greatly appreciated!!

Gotta love it!! Fun times! Mutants are so fun. I think I'll bring some old boosters. I have a sealed case of Skyridge and some more sealed booster boxes, but doubt I'll use them (too valueable). I'll probably use some Expedition, Neo, or Gym boosters.
 
I'll join in.....

I know a place that has sealed boxes of Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket (the orignal), only problem is the store owner knows nothing about card values and the boxes are just sitting behind the counter with no prices. Unfortunetly I won't be able to get my hands on them until at least October. :(
 
I am sure that Pokepop, the GOD of fossil Ditto and all his rulings will be around somewhere.

He would be a great phone a friend!
