Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Any good ebay tips?

Did you ask the buyer if there was a reasonable explanation for not paying right after the auction or a day or two?

I asked after 5 days.
Invoice was sent right after it ended and 3 days later. On the fifth I alerted him/her of if not payment a unpaid file would be placed.
All I got back was they where not gonna buy it.

Wow...well, hoping to add soothing to injury, I say add a notice that if "Payment is not received after 7 days, item will be put up again and a report will be made."
Just a suggestion. If you've already done this, then ignore it.

if anyone else bid, you can offer a "second chance" to the second highest bidder and recoup your loss.

it may take up to 30 days for dispute resolution through ebay. unfortunately, not much, if anything, will happen to the buyer for not paying. they get 3 strikes every 6 months (i believe, but it may be per year). you will get your final value fee back.

it may still be too early to request your final value fee be credited back to your account, but you can try it and see what ebay says. hope this helps.

Lots of good advice here, especially from plaidlesspez and TheDarkTwins.

One thing I can add is if you need feedback since you're a beginner seller, only leave feedback for the buyer once they have left it for you. I am finding that I am always leaving feedback for people and they aren't returning the favor despite my amazing service. Unless it is a low feedback or 0 feedback buyer, which could be one of those unpredictable guys that leave you a negative or neutral for a pointless reason, give it to them immediately upon payment.

But once you build up a good enough reputation, then just start leaving feedback as soon as the buyer pays.

What do you guys think of this advice?

I offer PAYPAL ONLY as form of payment and I don't send until I get the email/message that Paypal payment has been made.

I think that because as a seller you can only leave positive feedback anyway, once a buyer does their part and pays for the item in a timely manner you should leave feedback. They've already done their part. It's very immature to hold their feedback ransom...
As long as you do your part, and the item description and condition is accurate you shouldn't have to worry about your feedback. If they forget to leave feedback for you, simply message them reminding them to do so.

There is actually a setting that will send a reminder out after xxx number of days, you decide the number of days.

You can also tweak things like the invoice to make it more personal etc.

The easiest way to get great feedback and 5 stars is to ensure that the card(s) are mint and you use a brand new sleeve and top loader. Send them with a printed invoice and in a padded jiffy bag, throw in a few extra cards such as commons or if you can see it's a player then some trainers etc. I also stick some pokémon stickers on the invoice.

On the printed invoice, explain that the feedback is important to you as it reduces fees and helps you get closer to power seller discount status.

Common sense really but soooooo many people are lazy and dont bother. Lots of my customers come back to me and repeat buy due to these simple rules......even when I am more expensive.
