Any new Rogue decks?

I know the title is rather odd because rogue decks are thought of and tested every day!

The reason why I am creating this thread is so that the average Joe like myself with not a lot of money can still play a deck with a good chance at winning and also a fun deck to play.

I am calling on you master minds to inform me of some of those ideas of decks you're making and share them :p Or, at least inform me of some strategies and some decks that are out there.

Some cards that I'd like to see being played are cards like...


Carracosta (I think it's body is very good flip if good reduce damage by 50 and a grass weakness)
Scizor Prime - I really think if it's weakness can be removed, then it will be a deadly card
Steelix Prime
Virizion
Leavenny NV (Ability)
Hydreigon


And other cards that show a chance of being a contender, but fail to make the bacon :D

I think this is posted in the wrong section, and will probably be moved to the card strategy section.

I've been looking at Steelix with KlinKlang, with a Entei Suicune Legend tech to counter fire, although it's still weak to fire, but can utilise max potion well.
 
I made a steelix/lanturn prime deck the other day! I have yet to test against reshiphlosion and other top teir decks though. Ive only tested it out with a sammurott deck and out of 7 battles steelix/lanturn won 6 of them I didnt even play it with weakness because that would pretty much be an autowin anyway. Since steelix has a massive attack cost and Lanturn needs a whole bunch of energy to get a good amount of damage I thought itd be perfect match. Since they need a lot of energy to own others pokemon, Skarmory was the best to accelerate the energy attachment but it usually still takes a lil while to set it all up and I fall back on prizes often so I have put 4 twins in my list and it helps A LOT.
 
With the format in the state of flux that it has been in the past few months and the meta-game being the way it is (no deck has consistently good match-ups across the board), I would be really surprised if someone actually revealed a good rogue deck here. They definitely exist, I also think that Scizor and Lanturn are being vastly underused at the moment.
 
You're better off asking for fun budget decks than secret rogues (the secrecy is important to their success).

Reshiram/Typhlosion is tier 1 and cheap . . . but not rogue or fun.

Lanturn is usuable . . . but mainly with other expensive Stage 1s like Yanmega

Cinccino based decks can be fun, and there are a lot of options to suit your budget or your preferences.
 
Your question is an oxymoron; no one would reveal an actually good rogue becuase you asked. If you really want a good rogue, take a look at the cards. Find some that work together and make them work.

I should note that I am a big fan of Lanturn Prime, Steelix Prime, (which I still think can be very deadly), and all the other forgotten primes.

Lanturn Prime is an amazing tech in my Weavile deck!! Just saying. Also will send you a note about another deck.

I have been trying to combine Scizor Prime with smoochum and Aipom to manipulate SP Energy.

Any new updates of some combos with the new NV cards? Id really like to see the fossil pokemon come to life!
 
Vanellix? or what ever its called is a contender so is Chandelure, Terrakion, Cobalion, Virizion, Haxorus. There are some new decks arising.

Saw a Haxorus at CC with Eels. It went 4-2. At the end of the day, right after his last match and took all the cards out and started to rebuild his old deck. Didnt like it I guess.
 
Thats unfortunate. I have a Haxorus deck ready and I feel pretty good about my list. maybe a tweak or two here and there, but it works.

Druddigon w/ rocky helmet... than use ferrothorn to hit and switch to it... than tech victini w/ v-create to hit for weakness and easy set up, and dodrio for free retreat... it is pretty fun and causes decks some problems, you can also use druddigon on baby pokemon for free prizes if you can get his clutch attack going.... it will never win anything serious but it is fun to play !

I can't help but feel that Druddigon has potential, but can't for the life of me figure out any way to take advantage of it.

probably not the best way but the deck is so much fun to play! Even though I lose alot with it!
