Anyone attended outdoor camp?

Has anyone attended an outdoor camp? How about your experience? You can tell us about it in this topic.

My first camp lasted for 7 days 6 nights. That's very torturing for everyone. (7 days in the wilderness).

The camp was actually a test to get a proficency badge. During the camp, I saw, and hear different animals, and learnt survivor skills.

I camp every year for family reunions, but man I wouldn't mind camping for 7 days

This is my first camp, and it is not a normal camp. During the first day, I had to carry stuff that weight over 8 kg. Ouch. And it was a long way to go from the entrance to the campsite. I had to walk along jungle trails, some part are slippery, and some are narrow.

We were divided into groups of four. During the first day, we stayed on a site which is acessible by crossing a stream.

The second day, we moved to a bigger campsite near a waterfall. And it was another long way to go. I saw wild boars' footprints along the trail, and there was always a risk of being attacked by wild animals. Luckily, there was no.

When I arrived at the campsite, I saw a swarm of bees (luckily stingless) swriling around food leftovers with honey.

When I slept, I have to sleep with the cascade of the waterfall. That's a different experience. Slept with the natural noise, and you can't avoid it.

I've been outdoor camping 3 times, each for three days, and never once did I go number 2!
