The plan with this deck is to start with Growlithe and stoke to get a powered Arcanine turn 2. The Volcarona is for abusing Arcanine's ability and Ninetales is cheaper than catcher. All help is greatly appreciated.

My problems with the deck right now would be adding in 2 more switches. Maybe 1 more Ultra or Level Ball in case I need Ninetales or another basic right away.

Aren't nesecary imo.
I'd play 2 fliptini, to make energy flow better, improving stoke and Arcanine's attack. You can also take devolution spray out and then add rocky helmets. This also finds the space for your switches.
 
I don't think I can drop the Ninetales, They've helped me win the last 4 games I've played. I hadn't thought of Rocky Helmet though, That would combo really well with Blazing Mane. I've been debating on fliptini but wasn't sure on what to drop.
 
I know a ninetales is good, but when all you are using it for is the ability, your opponent will see it a mile off, and kill your vulpixes. I know it's searchable, but I'd rather have 4 catcher. (That also frees up the SSU spots)
 
The problem is that no one I know will trade a catcher and I don't have the funds to buy thenline. Ninetales is also good as a finisher if/when Arcanine is knocked out. What about this:
- 1-1 Ninetales
- Entei EX

+ 2 Switch
+ 1 Fliptini
 
I'd take out Entei and 3 Fire for 2 switch and two victini in that case. You want enough victini/level ball to get it tun one to improve your stoke chances. Are you using the 3 retreat larvesta for heavy ball?
 
Yeah, that's the Larvesta I'm using. I think I'm going to go with that, I'll update the list and report back after league tonight.
 
I'm going to go to league tomorrow (I can cause it's the holidays), and I'll post my list and experiences.
 
Unfotunately, I got to league today late so I didn't get to do the testing that I wanted to. I faced a couple grass decks and an EX deck. The first two were two easy but the final game was good. The game went until we each had 1 prize remaining. I didn't realize that there was a way to beat him in sudden death, so I just gave him a Victini to Bolt Strike. The deck itself preformed immensely better with the Victinis in it. So much so that out of three games I only failed 1 Stoke and 1 Fire Spin.
 
The Volcarona from NV has a 1 energy attack that does 30 and takes a basic energy from discard and attaches it anywhere. Might consider 1 or 2 instead of Entei.
 
I playtested against my brother yesterday, failed 3 stoke out of 4, and the only two fire spins i got off failed as well. I got one burn head, and ran out of enerrgy (Juniper) when I had taken 2 prizes, o bad games happen even with a t1 victini.
 
I just found out that I can get Catchers from a friend for cheap/free. IF I could get 4, what would be the changes you'ld reccomend?
