Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Are there any harmful chemicals in the RH coating of a Pokemon Card?

Sell the dumb card. I'm sure it has some sorta worth. Maybe you can trade it to a new player and trick he or she to give you something good. :)

The coating on a holo card is a type of plastic. All plastics come from oil and do contain toxic chemicals which can be released when incinerated. The concentration of toxin from that small of an amount of plastic would most likely be negligible though.

I think you're taking this a bit too seriously.

Thanks for the info.

WOOT! SO EXCITED FOR THE BIG DAY! It's also the day two of my least favorite MTG cards are being banned

Serious, schmerious.

Buy fireworks, strap the cards to those thin wooden sticks that guide the fireowrks, and cram everything into a microwave. If you like your face and wish to keep it, leave the house and cover your ears.

Yeah, I highly doubt any of the RH coating is dangerous in any way, otherwise there'd be a happy buttload of warnings, complaints from parents about unsafe consumer products, etc etc...

Personally I say eat your RH cards, that would give you their powers far better than inhaling their fumes (jk).

Yea, the only danger I could see from a Pokemon card and chemicals is if the card some how managed to fart....

^lold
