Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Arena Cups 2011

but it will delay all the corrections which means all the air fares get more expensive.

Amigo have uploaded both nationals but last time I looked the player count didn't match what was reported here for the DE nationals so at least one player is in the wrong age group. Then there are the players with multiple Ids to consolidate. It took me close to two weeks to get all the merges and player id errors resolved from UK nationals last year, this year I found twenty ids that had to be merged or otherwise corrected. This year I had a list of player ids in the UK ratings that I could work from so the process was faster but I still can't guarantee that I've found all the player errors.

And don't forget the missing tournaments..

delays are not good.

Im just bothered that there were special tournaments all year which I couldnt attend and when I finally have the chance to it doesnt happen because its "unfair" :/

And speaking bout ranking and unfair:

7 Gawein W. 1-0 25.00% 75.00%

He was 51st before the tournament so someone has this advantage anyway right?

"The other difference between this and the large European tournaments is that this is at the end of the year! I genuinely don't think playing in the Prague Cup, or the ECC to a lesser extent, is even that great ranking wise."

Less great then playing in an 8k tournament now? And if the arena cup wouldve happened earlier people who are on the borderline of getting an invite wouldve played just like everyone who is at that border would play now. Rankings wont be final before this happens anyway :/

Idk I was just happy I could finally play an extra tournament as well and suddenly its unfair

Wait . . . have they cancelled the Arena Cups now?

i dont know and i dont care, its not like points will matter much next year :/

And dont act like its not obvious that this was changed because of the complains...

I'm not acting like anything.

I genuinely don't know why they were changed. I thought they were originally for 2012, then got changed, then got changed back again. If it comes to that, why were they changed the first time?

because theyre played in this season? idk, i just think its weird that they got changed to next season with a bigger value, seems a lot like "people complained but take this to make up for it", idk

The Arena Cup´s rating points count for the 2011/2012 Season and will played in the NEW AGE DIVISONS.

That is the plan but the current TOM does not support the early switch to the new age divisions. There are ways of forcing TOM to use next years age groups but it would not be wise to declare that the manipulations necessary are foolproof and thus a 100% success at using next years age groups for all five tournaments might not happen..

bottom line: they will count for next season but you might be playing in this seasons age groups.
