Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Arithmetic as seen by Jimmy Ballard

I think the concept of the deck is great, but idk...

I seen quite a few of your decks Jimmy but never had the guts to try them, because I always found consistency problems (This only applies to your Pidgeot SW/Delta deck). But I may just try this one out on sunday, I will LYK on how it went (assuming I played it).

Thanks for posting this decks, seriously,

with crawdaunt you need a lot of wagers, and with the way this deck is tight on space, 3 spots is better than 5-6 for a tech and the 2 prize giveaway can hurt your mag matchup not the mention that dusknoir has high hp, good weakness, and a good attack

it's all a matter of your style i just think crawdaunt takes up too much space to be an effective tech in this deck unless you already had at least 3 wagers

Crawdaunt does not require wager. I would rather bounce a stage two with three energies back to your hand, and see you try to draw with Claydol for the next few turns. Not to mention bouncing a pokemon back is always painful, even if you just throw a sytage two and they candy it right back, thats one less candy they have.
Wager works well with it, but pointing and laughing at your opponent's Claydol is even more effective.

from my experiences with crawdaunt it is a little more situational, they are both easy to play around for some decks but when you get to use crawdaunts power there is a much better chance that they can just put the pokemon back into play somehow, and depending on them not being able to use claydol isn't a guarentee like it is with gardy, because you're not preventing the power your just depending on them not having the means to reduce the size of their hand

i still think it's a matter of style they both have ups and downs and i think we've covered them all enough for anyone to make their own decision on how to build their decks so i'm pleased
