I seriously can't believe I made Top Cut. Nice turnout and varied decks which was excellent.

Good games to everyone I played, especially in Top Cut.

dmaster out.

Yeah, those were unfortunate, I think I had a Power Spray ready for Garchomp C if you did get it out but luck does happen. :[ I got a terrible Game 3 in the final match as well.

Yeah, I'm Matthew. What's 17?

seventeen is the amount of characters needed in a single post.

woot, i finally found out who you are. i was the guy there who won vs. you at fall br's where i played gengar/queen.

good job on 2nd man, nice to see luxape is actually being played in az.

Yeah, Hi Robert. :] I wanted a rematch against you. >:] Hehehe. Luxape was definitely the play for down here. I honestly don't think I would've done better with any of my other deck choices.

And Desmond, what's this I heard about you saying I didn't play right. I'd like to know your logic for that. >:[

^ Well i said, Game 1 you played 2-3 Cyrus then searched roseannes. If you kept for Cyrus, your momentum would've continued on through till your next turn. Granted when i power sprayed your Uxie that didn't help much.

There are a couple things i don't remember that seemed kind of strange to me though. JMO

Yeah, that set me back the whole match, because IIRC, either my Baltoy or Claydol was prized. x_x

I just don't really like it when people say that I misplayed behind my back, especially to my Mom. I mean, I will admit I made an Energy misplay for sure, but yeah.

you really shouldn't think of it too negatively. I mean, it's not like he said, 'oh, you're bad, you were just lucky, etc.'
Everyone has room for improvements and I for one enjoy it when fellow players tell me about what I did wrong, etc. what I should have done better, it gives me insight into how to play out future matches.
Desmond's a nice guy, he didn't mean anything to your mom or you, he was just offering tips that she might have interpreted as Desmond being bitter.

Also woulda loved a rematch, but I guess I'll have to wait till cities.

I have no idea on what' I'm going to play for Cities. x_x

I know he wasn't mean or anything. The top cut matches were great because they were nice. But I would've liked it if he had told me or something. I already know I make mistakes, most people do. How I make those mistakes is what I need to be told.

Yeah, cities is a long ways away and I haven't even begun to think over choices in decks. I'll make that decision after I get a good grasp at what the numerous cards/combos are.

Just to be fair to Desmond, he really wasn't going to say anything, he went outside and texted away. But your mom confronted him about the match just to know what went on, etc. It's not a big deal as I said before, but I guess telling you up front would've been nice?

Just letting you all know, I did not 'confront' Desmond. I merely asked him how the BR went for him and how did he do. Please don't blow this out of proportion when it's not necessary.

I'm not blowing anything out of proportion because I honestly see no conflict here. Instead of confront, perhaps if I used the word 'approached', that would have been more suitable for the situation. Desmond gave you an overview of the match with a few of the mistakes your son made that he can work on in the future. I'm just defending him because I know he wasn't 'trash talking' or going behind your son's back. Sorry for the confusion.

Wow wasn't this something trishs ayed don't get in conflicts and fight lol plus I would like this thread to stay open at least till we get through our last br lolfun day yestersday good trun out as well.

There's a difference between bashing a player and trying to resolve a silly situation.
