armaldo LA with memory berry

so armaldos poke body says if your opponents pokemon attacks you with a damage of 60 or less than its prevented

and i have memory berry attached to it and i use guard claw which reduces damage done to anorith by 20

does it still reduce the damage when your a stage 2?

It should since it's Armaldo using Guard Claw. It's sort of like saying Flygon can't use Inviting Trap since it's Trapinch's attack.

It's the self-referencing rule, so therefore Guard Claw reduces 20 damage done to Armaldo.

As a result, the opponent has to do the equivalent of 90+ damage in order to break that armour, since the Poke-Body occurs at the final step, after computing all other effects.
