I wonder if pokemon* are always basic pokemon like the shinings from neo 3 and 4 were, or pokemon* evolve from previous stages, if any

counting you can onl have one * per deck i'm guessing they'll count as basics.

and is it just me or does that jolteon look like a "light jolteon"?

Oh well, maybe a Metagross * might evolve from a normal Metagross! But I hardly believe it, I think you're right!

However, the "Light" thing seems to be a bit too... hazardous, yup.

Did it occur to anyone that 'Metagross*' might actually be Shining Metagross like it says on the site? I mean if that IS Light Jolteon, chances of Shinings instead of what you guys call 'stars' would be greater(possibly reprinting Miracle Energy too). Gust a guess though...

Hmm, interesting. The next set is the Horon, and Jolteon is presumably outside the reseach facility. However we know Jolteon ex is going to be in the set, and Pokemon-ex never have art like that. So they must be printing a regular Jolteon in the main set too.

As for the Metagross* evolution argument *coughJOLTEON*coughFLAREON*coughVAPOREON*coughUMBREON*coughESPEON*cough*

Dragonair gives me deja vu for some reason.

Heh, by eyebrows, I hope you mean the part of his skull that forms a ridge over the eyes, to keep various debris from entering the eyes, then yes, its had plastic surgery.

Also, it is not written, anywhere, that ex's can't have scenery as a background. Though, past experiences would lead us to believ that this is your average, ordinary Jolteon... that lives at a research lab... where impossible things may happen...
