Austino's Texas States Report: DQ'd from Top Cut!

Courage man. For the stolen cards, the same thing happened to me. I had a big box to transport all my cards and at the end of a tournament a friend of mine put my box next to the exit. And it disappeared. But we were only a few so I quickly knew who it was. But that never came again...
 
It looks like we all pretty much agree. No one thinks the penalty was to light (no one is calling for him to be kicked out of Pokemon for life for this). We all agree the penalty leans more towards too harsh than too light, right? At worst a slight error in judgement. We all agree it is nice to discuss things, in the great old american tradition, but now it is time to move forward together towards something we can all agree on, how to get rid of all those pesky kids runnign around and getting in my way at all our pokemon tourtnaments.
 
Agreed. I've moved on from it and just want the whole ordeal over with.

My points were corrected for that top cut match and I'm ready for the next event.

IDK where I'll be yet, but a group decision will probably be made tomorrow evening. Hoping to get some more information before then, but it will most likely be all from OK or none from OK as far as regionals goes, lol.

Keep in mind, 1 & 1/2 hour shorter drive to Houston AND more rounds. Seriously, what's Regionals if we don't have representation from Oklahoma?

On top of all that, Whicker would feel like a little lost puppy if he were somewhere else.

You love Houston, you want Houston, you need Houston.

Get to Houston.

Or, come to Denver, Colorado (Mountain West Regionals). It's about 100 miles further (from Okie City), but you'll avoid the heat and humidity.:biggrin:

Silly Steve, there's no heat and humidity in Houston in mid April.

Austino wants Houston. Quit prolonging the agony of figuring out where to go and make plans to come to Houston.
 
There's pros and cons to each Regional, lol!

We're weighing options at the moment. I'd really like to hit up CO Regionals, but it's looking like Houston out of price/distance.

(I'm personally a cold weather person, myself)

I'll probably post here whenever we have a group decision.
 
lol....this "debate" was a clear reminder of how much people take card games seriously...how pathetic. I'm sorry your card game fun was taken away by something you, yourself caused, but don't go around claiming injustice when you took a gamble.

Relax kid...and just realize something...its just a card game, nothing more. Your points and your ticket to worlds are not as important as your words and actions. Again...its just a game, remember that every time.

I know exactly what happened, lol...some of my friends were judges, including Danny Fish. Kindly take your own advice next time before posting.

Then you should know that just because some people are friends doesn't mean they made the correct decisions. It doesn't justify anything, but just goes to show that you know as little about suggested penalties as Fish did.

If you DID read any posts, you'd know that my main concern was my stolen cards, so instead of getting on a high horse and telling me it's all my fault for what happened (which I took the blame multiple times for the DQ), learn to READ posts.

The issue was dropped already, so I'd suggest you do the same and not stir up unwanted discussion unless you're just looking to be counterproductive. (You'd have already know the situation is over if you HAD read even just the past two pages.)
