gotta have teh dragonite pwnage

Now, we all know that a dragonite is needed, simply because he is the coolest pokemon of all time. But there are also things like a professor birch avatar(for professors when they come around) and the like.
 
Magikarp, please.

You gotta love Magikarp. It is the best Pokémon of all. It always has been and always will be. So please, please give us a Magikarp avatar.
 
I'd like my Black Lotus avatar from Wizards back... Or one of the moody Pichu's from the Pokemon Hara Hara Relay ending (still need to put those up on my board)
 
I'm thinking, the images of the pokemon from the 3 series of games, and also from the cardgame, where available. So if we take Pikachu for example there would be the RBY image, the GSC image, the RuSa image, Base set Pikachu, most of the other set's pikachu, Birthday, Flying and Surfing Pikachu, etc. I know that's a lot of pics for just ONE of the many pokemon, but I would certainly like for it to have a great variety and uniqueness to it all. Then there'd be the humans from the tv show, and so on...

Personally, I'd like the pic of Scizor from the TCG, the one from the Neo series, with FalseSwipe as it's first attack. Love those wings...
 
FishKing, would the image on the card for Shining Magikarp be any good? It's Yellow, swimming along with red ones. I think it looks cute :)

Alright, here's the deal.

Custom Avatars: Sorry, not now. We would like to get the board up and moving before we even think about this. As previously stated, we are working on getting avatars online for you all to use. Until then, please be patient. The reason we will not allow custom titles at this time is because of trust. Not that we dont trust you all, but we do know that there are those of you that will abuse the privilage. Lets call this a trial period. If you can all handle yourselves for a while, then we will think about allowing custom avatars (NOT hosted on our server, but hosted on your own.

Custom Titles: No. They will not be allowed, since as was stated earlier, there is nothing that you can put in your custom title that you cant put in your signature. Hense, it will be less for us to have to worry about.

Titles will be given, but wont be custom, and there will be one, or at max, two levels.

I say just stick with selectables -- at least for a while. Since this is about Pokemon:TCG, I agree with the suggestion to use some card images -- the old archetypes, some of the "joke" cards (Imakuni?, anyone?), and the rules nightmares.
 
I'd love to see either Sneak Attack or Rocket's Trap make avatar pics, of course, but Neo Gen sneasel or Discovery holo Umbreon would be nice as well...It'd be cool if I got the red face paint Elf I had at the pokegym as well, as D&D rocks ;\

Stop with the icon business, Cass. You know how much I don't like that. You're making me angry. You wouldn't like me when I get angry.

As for avatars, why not just make one of EVERY Pokémón! Can I draw that much? We'll find out... ;)
