The basic strategy of this deck is to either start with Kabutops and start doing 70 damage while trying

to get some fossils in the discard pile and get an Omastar out (The AR one). It's also very nice to start

with Omanyte. Crobat plays a nice purpose in this deck because it allows you to get a poke down to just

a few HP and then de-evolve it down to a baby and watch it explode. Since this is sort of a power up

deck I decided to run some plus powers and Expert Belts for Omastar, Kabutops could also use it but I

don't really advise it because he's more of a starter/clean up it's nice that you can get him out so fast

and hit very hard, the reason I run an Omanyte from MD is so I can get a fossil out of my discard pile to

power up Kabutops in case I've discarded too many fossils and am dry.


Please review this deck and give me some comments or criticism in reguards to the strategy.

You need an answer to the Spiritomb lock. The Gastly and Deafen lock are other things you will need an answer to as well.

With 4 Fossil Excavators, you don't need to run a 4-4-4 line or a 4-2-2 line or the 4-2 line of Omastar, Kabutops or Areo. Run a 3-3-3 , 3-2-3 and a 3-2 line insead. This way your first hand isn't ONLY fossils. I know with the 4 lines you're garunteed to start with one. But regardless you should always aim to get a varity of cards in your hand. And Trainer lock DESTROYS fossil decks. Cyclone Energy, Poke Blower+ and even Regice LA with regi move will help get around that. My friend runs a Suppet donk deck. and if the opposing player doesn't have 2 spirtombs set up. Then the regice will help you with that.

I'd suggest running a 1-1 line of Dialga G because Spiritomb would seem to be a problem for the deck
