Basic Metal Mercury

I anyone trying Mercury with basic metal and Magnezone?

magnezone seems kinda unnecessary for mercury, but i do like the basic metal idea

Sad that it's so short lived until rotation really, but I think there's more potential to be found in Metagross.

Metagross ex PK/Magenzone/Techs

thats is the deck and it works. It did great in a local tourney I was at. Magenzone became a great attacker he was doing 80-90 a turn. He went toe to toe with Flygon d ex,ad went through alot of toher stuff.

Mercury right now is kinda a dead concept in this season and hasnt been real successful.

mercury magnazone isn't good cause if im not mistaken the gardevoir fetches psychic energies not metal energies.

You dont use Gardy to get the energys... Its Starmie d DS... he gets the metals and you Energy jump with Gardy d DS...

chubbs:Thanx for informing on that information. Ampharaos UF is better for enegry jumping I say,but it dosent move special energy thats all,but u can do it as often as you like.

Metagross ex/Magenzone is the best concept on the deck tho so I would just play that.

Registeel ex is a great tech in that deck,but I just never thought of mercury doing really well tho.
