Round 13 results are reflected on the grids, as with Team Aqua's remaining uncaptured Pokémon (Latias and Kyogre) have been filled in. Again, thanks for play testing and hopefully soon there will be a second game coming up in the future!
Two teams will try to "catch them all" in this twisted version of Battleship, the classic grid game where you need to sink your opponant's ships on a grid. Except in this version- your team will drop Pokeballs onto the pathces of grass on the grid to catch Pokemon and be the first team to "catch them all"!
This game mimics the set up just like the board games just the same. There are 5 Pokemon placed onto the grids randomly. There are twists in the grid, which will effect the game play in different ways. There are also "Power Up" items on the grid, and if your lucky enough to drop a Pokeball on a specific grid coordinenece- you will recieve the Pwoer Up item! There is also a bigger twist: Your team mates can be eliminated by the opposing team members.
Here is what the players can count on being on the grids:
1 Pokemon that totals 5 slots (the aircraft carrier)
1 Pokemon that totals 4 slots (the battle ship)
2 Pokemon that total 3 slots (the sub and the tanker)
1 Pokemon that totals 2 slots (the patrol boat)
As the Host- I hold the grids design, and both teams will not know anything other then what is discovered after each round of Pokeball drops have been called out by both teams. Both grids are visable to all players in this main Post for all to see the updates after each round.
1. This is a big rule: NO communication in any form may happen among the team players during this game. NONE. At this time, this is not an option, period. Please, At this time, all communication will only be between myself and the players.
All players begin the game with 5 points. Losing all of your personal points will cause you to be eliminitad from the game! Be carefull!
2. Each player will be able to post their "calls" to identify the patches of grass they would like to drop a Pokeball onto in their team's grid. Like this:

Players have 2 Pokeball drops per round.
To help me skim through and to identify team posts, please "color" your post like this:

The teams are Team Magma vs Team Aqua, players will be matched up to split the teams for both sides.
TWIST: Any player may post to drop a Pokeball onto an opposing player, depleting that player's points by 1. If you select this option, you may not drop a single Pokeball onto your own team grid for that round.
Your post should look like this: "Drop a Pokeball on (insert opposing team player name here)", and it will be reflected on the roster below.
This means you have 2 options to do on your turn, target an opposing player or to try to complete the task of catching all the Pokemon on your teams grid.
If you decide to target an opposing player team member, no one else on your team can target that same player, so no "stacking" targets onto any player.
After all players have posted, I will update the grids to reflect the changes. The next round will begin after the update.
Players make only one post per round.
3. Your team catches all of the Pokemon on your team grid: Your team wins!
4. Have fun!
There are Wild Electrode, (5) of them on each team's grids. Drop a Pokeball on one, you will lose a point from your personal point count.
There are other "hidden" items scattered on the grids, you will be notified by me if you happen to drop a Pokeball on the slot that it is hidding on. If you recieve an item, you can use it immediatly for the next round. If you want to, you may pass on that item to another player on your team. PM me if that is what you would like to do with the item. I will let that person on your team know they have been given it to them, which they can use it right away as well for the next round.
Some of the items to be found:
A Masterball: Get lucky dropping this, you might catch a Pokemon in one drop!
Plusle: This Pokemon will appear and turn your Pokeball into 5 Pokeballs which will cover a section in a "+" shape!
There is one more twist- it will happen by chance. A "WILD (insert Pokemon names here) Appeared!" event can happen, which both teams will have a Pokemon added onto the grid board, it could be good, or it could be bad. But like I said: chance!
(I have other ideas, but for this trial run- let's work with "little" for now :biggrin: )
