I was at league yesterday when this ruling was made and i wanted to post it here to see if it was correct or not correct.
My friend had a Jolteon EX active and his opponent had a Giratina EX with Bent Spoon attached to it. My friend attacked with Flash Ray. Next turn his opponent attacked with Giratina EX and it was ruled that Giratina EX could damage the Jolteon EX.
Bent Spoon - Prevent all effects of your opponent's attacks, except damage, done to this pokemon this card is attached to. (Existing effects are not removed)
Flash Ray - During your opponent's next turn, prevent all damage done to this pokemon by attacks from basic pokemon.
So my question: Is Flash Ray's effect on Jolteon EX or is it on all of your opponent's Basic pokemon therefore allowing Bent Spoon to prevent it on the Giratina EX?
My thoughts are that Flash Ray is on Jolteon EX therefore Giratina EX should not have been able to do any damage to the Jolteon EX.
