The Ultra Pro Platinum series are the way to go. The oldest ones I have are almost 10 years old and they are still in great condition.

That's cheap as well, I'll order some after Christmas, I ordered 50 silver ones for about £3 last week but I'll be sure to get some platinum's in the new year, is the upgrade definitely worth it?

Platinums are the ones I use, and I keep a lot of very expensive cards in them. Definitely recommend.

In my experience the Platinum ones stay crystal clear much longer, hold better over time, don't rip as easy and are less likely to scratch your cards. So yes, they're worth it. I love them. I bought two boxes so I can start storing all my BW cards.
