Best prerelease cards

Not very interesting but as the prerelease for the new set draws nearer it would be good to know what we are working with. My question is that if any one knows what cards would do best at the prerelease please post and maybe we could all be winners at the prerelease!

zekrom and reshiram are great cards to tank with and sweep.

I think that serperior would be a great addition to a prerelease deck. For a grass energy and a colorless you do 60 damage and heal 20 from serperior. It is a massive tank.

You know isn't the idea of a prerelease to be surprised to see what you get? I mean come on, in DanceDanceRevolution when new versions come out you don't expect someone to get a AAA on a song that they sight read the first time. Its all for fun really.

Boufallant is great with revenge, and the starters are all good if you can get them out (lines are quite easy to obtain)

actually, when ddr extreme was released in the arcade, i AAA three songs the same day after playing them once or twice, and AA plenty of others.

on the topic though, the do the wave guy is really good, for two colorless you can potentially deal 120 damage

the electric spider. whatever it's called.

does 40 for 2 colorless and heals whatever it deals. So if they're dealing 40 or less, which is PRETTY common in a PR, you're never dying!

The Rare Maractus has 2 pretty sweet attacks. 1 Grass for flip for potential 60. 3 Grass for 50 heal 50. And its a basic!

Sawk is also not bad. 1 for 20. 2 for 40. Just like base set Hitmonchan.

The 2 Legendaries are overpowered for a prerelease and are easy to setup.


There are also a bunch of pokes that cause special conditions, so dont overlook switch and full heal when building your deck. Alomolamola(Basic, Rare) does 20 and sleep for [W][C] and has 100hp.
