I have no idea if this is just for the game or for a new anime series to go with it, but WHOLLY MILTANK THIS IS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!

I know this is technically "Electronic Game" and possible "Anime" forum material, but I figure this is awsome enough to warrent it to stay in the "News and Gossip" forum. It offers a new look at the Kyruem Forms of Reshi and Zekrom, and a new Team Plasma look. What exactly is Pokemon got in store for us?

OMG this is awesome.. *blown away*

B/Ws story couldve been really good but they never used its potential and now this new game actually expands this story and we get this? Maybe my hopes of a pokemon game with a somewhat serious story will finally come true? Maybe well even get an anime that has a real story and makes sense and it more than an advertisement show? Maybe theyll finally get rid of ash?

Yeah I know this is just an ad and might be nothing more but it looks soo good :D
 
I would LOVELOVELOVE it if they released a Pokemon anime in this style. Just let the animators go wild, craft a halfway decent story with a definite start and end point, and you'll see the Western audience go nuts over the whole thing.

All of the music was rock remixes of the music in Black and White. I LOVED the remixed Plasma theme at the end when the Player and his Lucario are up against the Shadow Triad.
 
This was all kinds of awesome. This is the kind of stuff i'd hoped to see in the anime and movies forever. This is just an ad for the games? Man, i really hope we can at least get a couple of in-game cut-scenes like this.
 
They need to replace ash with this charchter. He is so much cooler and i would actuile start watching the show if he was there instead.
 
It reminds me of the manga. The same manga where Red actually gets crap done, pokemon are killed, and half the gym leaders and Elite Four are evil. I can't freaking wait!
 
You know, if they actually made the Pokemon anime in a style like that with an actual story that doesn't revolved around extremely dated Team Rocket gags, I would even wake up early on weekend mornings to watch it.

Bianca is kinda meh too me though, even more than in the original where she was kinda lame.
 
I am totally impressed by that trailer. Personally, I would love it if they replace Ash with the new protagonist and made BW2 into a full fledged anime. The only thing I will miss from the old, or current, anime I will miss is the pokémon speaking by saying their names. Growling or roaring would get annoying after a while.

The new animation style is simply epic! I am blown away and hope to see more battles animated that way. :D

Why not have both?

Ash exists for the kiddies.

This kid (I'm hesitant to call him "Black", cuz that's BW1's protagonist) should exist for the teen/adults.

I'm still waiting for them to Anime the Pokemon Adventures Manga, but we all know that's never gonna happen...
 
This is the way I can watch Pokemon. The TV series they have now is just unwatchable to me. I want to see people/pokemon get blasted, killed or worse, just like the good old manga.

It's about time pokemon tried to mature up a little bit. Also, this does good things for the games and other media if they chose to go this route. Remember the Old PBR trailer?
