Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Black and White rules out of the box

what happens with bts, does that mean i can't evolve a pokemon if i go first and play bts down?

This is not personal to you but I see a lot of these questions and it makes me think only 1 thing.
Why don't you know how BTS works if you are already playing it?
And even if you (general) not playing it, understanding more cards than only your own is what is needed to really play this game.

We have a great resource for those kind of questions, it's called the compendium
LInk to compendium

I would advice to go there and read what is ruled about Broken Time Space.

I think it's a smart move on TPCi's part. They can release a set with cards people want for collecting and playing purposes, and then release another that will be valuable to collectors and players alike in just a few months.

It's better for the format, too. I'm happy about it.

I am saddened by the complaining of the rule changes. Honestly, as a player that has been around since base set. I am finding no problem adapting to these rules. Supporters when they originally came out where discarded. Plus power was used on the active Pokemon and we had no problems with it.

But that did not stop the old school donk decks of its day. With Erica's Clefairy doing pulled punch for 40 when your opponent has 0 energy attached to it. The same can be said of the the pulled punch Chansey in Platinum. Which most of you have discarded. Granted its a DC but still it is not a fun card. Same can be said of Ambipom G going first with trainers. There will be just more than one donk deck.

Just the most effective and destructive one will be Sabledonk. Which is screaming for a mid-season rotation to get ride of not only him but expert belt as well. Seriously who wants to see games decided in less than a minute? I sure do not and I just like many others will just play in leagues. If they decide to not do a rotation or out right ban cards. Which banning of cards is not TPCi motif at all. With the exception of Sneasel and Slowking.

As of right now we do not know what is going on. But with Regionals a little more than a week away. It would not surprise me at all if they make an announcement there about a set rotation or introducing a ban list for the foreseeable future.

Aikira, this pic of an Expedition PETM would disagree with you. Expedition was the first set with Supporters.

Uhh....

Sabledonk will be better, gets to go T1 and play trainers.

Uxie Donk and SHuppet Donk loose the Plus Power returnability that they once had. He plays Beedrill G...and I'm betting that he attacked with Uxie at one point or another too. Oh, and I've seen his list....it's not all a donk deck.

Why did you just repeat exactly what I just said? Read my post again.

I'm incredibly dull, or missing something. What is this infinite heal?

I had the plan with Max Potion, but my heart was broken to see the card not coming in :(

Move damage to Unown Q, attach Unown Q to Pokemon discarding damage counters, Use Mismagius Power to remove Unown Q, Bench Unknown Q. Rinse, repeat.

This is a good thing. That is all.

EDIT: It seems the other topic was merged into this one. I was referring to Catcher's not being printed. The rule changes are in no way a good thing.

...And neither are 41 other cards. Hmm.

If this was being discussed already, mods, please close. Otherwise, though, discuss. I know many people were anticipating Gyarados being even more broken with the release of Catcher, and a few other decks could probably have made good use of it as well. Sort of a free Luxray GL Lv.X. What sort of disappointment exists about this card's delayed release? I know it was one of the most highly anticipated cards in the set...

Yeah, been on our front page for a day before this, thanks to rainbowgym.
