...Lolwhat?

I know anyone can edit Bulbapedia, so anyone got speculations/links on this?

This is true. They are setting up two different types of theme decks, and they come in lunchbox-like containers. It's a neat idea, seeing that they have not done something like this before. It's doubtful that the US will follow suit on them however.

I hope they do but Japan gets all the good stuff and we never do in the US

Look at Celibe ever time Japan release it its were ever one can get it the US makes you have to go thought some tournament or go to NY to get it

I dislike the sexism implied in this. Honestly, if they wanted to make two different (Actually four different once the Deluxe versions come out) kits, that's fine. But calling them 'FOR GIRLS' and 'FOR BOYS' is a bit much IMO.

Selling pink toothbrushes isn't sexist. Selling toothbrushes in 2 colors, one blue for boys and one pink for girls, is sexist. That's basically what they're doing.

I just love how politically correct people act nowadays.

instead of complaining, maybe you sholud get back in the kitchen and make sandwiches.

I swear people get so up in arms over stupid crap nowadays. who do you think nintendo marketed nintendogs at? you really think a little boy age 8-11 wants to play with a digital dog, no. they aimed it at girls. Just like disney aims the princess stuff, miley cyrus. and the jonas brothers at girls. in turn they market other stuff for boys. It is business and demographic specific marketing. if you don't like it maybe you shouldn't live in america, or for that matter live on this planet based on commercialism and consumerism.

Also, I would like to point out that although much of Bulbapedia is open to everyone to edit, the did you know on the front page, however, is not. It is restricted to only the administrators on the wiki. In all actuality, the person in charge of changing the did you know is also the Project TCG leader!

Just felt the need to clarify that.

Also, in general, the Japanese versions of things have always been a little bit less worried about political correctness, as evidenced by certain names of attacks and pictures on cards. The kits may just be roughly translated into a way that seems slightly out of taste and possibly more taboo to us Americans. As usual, most likely, the kits will be renamed when/if they hit the American markets. I personally see nothing wrong with 'for boys' and 'for girls', it wouldn't stop lots of people from buying either one i would assume. Maybe us Americans are too sensitive, maybe the Japanese are a little more care free and less censored than us in many ways, but in many other ways American advertising is also way more extreme than Japanese (sex sells, etc.) so it sort of is a give or take. In advertising, we cant SAY anything potentially lewd, but we sure can SHOW it.

No, whats sexist is saying the pink tooth brush is for girls, and the blue one is for boys. You can buy either, I used to have a pink tooth brush. The only problem to me is if they say this one is for boys, and the other for girls. I f they are merely trying to satisfy both sexes, then it is fine.
