BlazeRay is a commonly played SP deck. It came about when Platinum Supreme Victors was released, previous to Supreme Victors LuxApe was the prior version of this deck. BlazeRay is superior to LuxApe in most cases mainly because Infernape 4 Lv X requires too many energies. His attack fire spin requires 2 fire energies with an energy gain and then forcing you to discard 2 fire energies to do 100 damage. People used Infernape for his Poké-POWER Intimidating Roar which forces your opponent to switch his active Pokémon with one of his benched. Blaziken FB can disrupt your opponent very well. In many situations Blaziken FB does an even better job at this via attack Luring Flame which allows you to chose which Pokémon your opponent brings up and then they are burned.

Well now time for the list:

Pokémon:

3 Luxray GL
1 Luxay GL Lv X
3 Blaziken FB
1 Blaziken FB Lv X
1 Dialga G
1 Dialga G Lv X
1 Garchomp C
1 Garchomp C Lv X
2 Crobat G
1 Azelf
2 Uxie
1 Unown G
1 Lucario GL

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

4 Roseanne's Research
4 Cyrus's Conspiracy
4 Energy Gain
4 Poké Turn
4 Power Spray
3 SP Radar
1 Aaron's Collection
1 Cynthia's Guidance
1 VS Seeker
1 Luxury Ball
1 Premier Ball
2 Warp Point

Energy:

4 Fire Energy
4 Lightning Energy
1 Basic Metal
2 Call Energy

Basically the strategy for this deck is to set up fast and start taking prizes. You use Blaziken and Luxray to bring up bench Pokémon and take easy prizes. As soon as you see your opponent start to set something up bring it up and kill it. Do not let them set up, you have the tools to counter it. If your opponent tries to counter you with Mewtwo Lv X get Dialga Lv X out and block his Poké-BODY. If your Pokémon start to get low on health drop a Garachomp C lv X down and heal them via his Poké-POWER.

If you have any suggestions on the deck or any ideas that can make this article better please post them below. Thanks.

this list looks really good but i would take out

-1 Cynthia's
-2 warp point
-1 Premier ball(a 4th sp radar would be a better choice IMO)
-1 Energy Gain(with DCE you're safe to take one out, if not i would suggest only 3 spray)

+1 SP Radar
+2 Double colorless(i know Blaziken doesn't use them but garchomp, luxray, and dialga can)
+2 Basic metal(searchable and dialga is a GREAT attacker, especially if you start with him)

I hope this can help you in some way

I'll think about taking out Cynthia's but it is a good last resort gives you a little extra draw power

The 2 warp points are definitely not being taken out, this deck is about disruption and making your opponent play Pokémon as their active that they don't want too

The premier ball is staying in it is good for getting your lv Xs back from your discard pile without wasting a supporter

I'll think about taking out 1 Energy Gain

Not going to add another SP radar, 3 is plenty

Ill think about adding 2 DCEs although Luxray is a effective bench sniper in his own way

Dialga is not an attacker in this deck, it is just a tech to block Poké-BODYs 1 regular metal is all you need incase you want to use a deafen in a situation therefor adding 2 more is pointless

oh, you're original list didn't have a metal in it. i didn't think about premier ball getting stuff from the discard, and yeah luxray is a "sniper" but you can go from a lone garchomp on the bench to free retreating something most likely bringing it up attaching a DCE and energy gain and BAM you've got a dragon rush without them even seeing it coming, that's why i think you should play it. and the cynthia's i guess is alright for a last resort. also i think you could use 1 more call energy just so you start with it more and i know 4 spray is VERY effective but IMO you only need 3 in a deck and it's just as good and that way you can fit in 1 more call

Yeah I meant to have a metal on my original list just forgot to type it

I'll add 2 DCE, good idea

I don't feel that I need another call

I took out cynthia's for another SP Radar

Pokémon:

3 Luxray GL
1 Luxay GL Lv X
3 Blaziken FB
1 Blaziken FB Lv X
1 Dialga G
1 Dialga G Lv X
1 Crobat G
1 Bronzong G
1 Azelf
2 Uxie
1 Unown G
1 Lucario GL

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

4 Roseanne's Research
4 Cyrus's Conspiracy
1 Bebe's Search
4 Energy Gain
4 Poké Turn
4 Power Spray
3 SP Radar
1 VS Seeker
2 Aaron's Collection
1 Luxury Ball
2 Premier Ball
1 Warp Point

Energy:

4 Fire Energy
3 Lightning Energy
1 Basic Metal
4 Call Energy

This list is so much more consistent, and has much better recovery.

The old list ran 2 Call. I would never run a deck with just 2 Call. 4 is so good to give you a much better chance of opening with it. And going first with a Blaze/Lux and Call + Spray gives great early game disruption. Your reasoning behind Warp Pointed isn't too good. Plox will just bring out a second Gardy, Gengar won't even let you play the Warp Point (Spiritomb) Gyara will just bring out something like Crobat or Sableye, which they are happy to be rid of as it means no damage to their main attacker. Luring Flame is much better as it allows you choice of target. With people starting to run less Unown G Luring Flame is a lot easier to use to cripple the opponents setup.

I dislike 'chomp in the deck as your main attackers are Luxray and Blaze, I fail to see what Garchomp does when they do its job better. It isn't worth the 2 energy to just do 80 when it would be much easier and faster to use Blaze and Luxray. Never think of using Dialga as a main attacker in this deck, the deck is all about speed and Dialga should only ever come out versus Shuppet TBH (or to level up obviously) It does not warrant DCE to be in the deck when the words Second Strike should never leave your lips when playing BlazeRay.

I do not know what you were thinking with only 1 Aaron's and 1 Premier Ball in the deck. with only those in there you will only see Blaze X back a max of 2 times after it first dies (3 if you also use the VS Seeker on Aaron's).

That much recovery just isn't enough, and to keep your Lux/Blaze supply healthy you need more Aaron's/Prem Ball.

instead of a 1-1 dialga g line you should switch to a 1-1 banette plt line its a great mewtwo and machamp counter all in one
-a 1-1 dialga g
- 1 basic metal and a lightning energy
+a 1-1 banette plt line
+ 1 psychic and 1 multi energy
