Blaziken or Dialga in Luxchomp?

I play a pretty stardard Luxchomp list and can't decide if I want a:
1-1 Dialga + Metal Energy,
or a
1-1 Blaziken + Fire Energy

My metagame has a lot of gyarados, a medium amount of luxchomp, a couple Vilegar, and then some rogue's like Gigas, Scizor/Magnezone, and Riachu.

Which one do you think is the better tech?

I dont think you necessarily need the warp energy to run Dialga. I would mainly use it to break the trainer lock just long enough play all my trainers then just poketurn the dialga or attack with it.

That seems like a waste, and anyways, you wan't to be able to play sprays, and when you draw into a trainer, you have to set it up again, and waste a poketurn.

I personally don't believe that you need DGX against Vilegar. You just have to play Luxchomp in a way to AIM for the Zen Blade KO. People try to Bright Look and Flash Impact/Dragon Rush the Vileplume to death which is NOT what you should be doing.

Not as easy as it sounds...

Well I've been trying out dialga and it seems like every time I get it out against vilegar they just level it down.

Anyone else have any input. My cities is tomorrow!!!!!!!

I say Blaziken cuz Dialga is only good in Dialga decks. Also Blziken can do 80 damage for a fire+colorless. Even less if you have energy gain though.

pjwlrs, its actually not that hard. Think of it this way, Uxie lvl X is just a replacement of Garchomp C lvl X in terms of cards for this attack. DCE for Uxie instead of Chomp and Uxie X instead of GCX. Now all you have to do is be able to pair it with Bright Look. Although it sounds like a lot, its actually not. I've been able to pull it off a few times but you have to play FOR it if you know what I mean. Like you can play to get your DGX but instead, try playing to get Zen Blade.

Ok I know about how it's dependent on my meta game. That is why I included what was played at the last city.

Could someone provide a list of all the decks dialga helps with and all of the decks blaziken helps with?

if you have alot of vilegar then go with dialga

if not then use blaziken (if you worry bout vilegar this can sorta help by bringing up vileplumes:p )

I think that the question is wrong. Neither of them would help you in that metagame IMO. If you have to play against a lot of Gyarados, try out 3-1 Luxray GL or/and Expert Belt. I would increase my advantage against other Luxchomps as well. I would not tech for a couple of Vilegars and some random decks.

I personally favor Dialga over Blaziken. While Blaziken can get you a cheap, quick KO and provide you with some versatility through Luring Flame, the ability to shut down Spiritombs is much better in my opinion. Blaziken dies too quickly, but Dialga will stick around to cause disruption for a while.
