Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Bluffing: Good of Bad?

So, let's say the player never mentioned anything of the card, just had it lying there. Still Game Loss?
Now, say it's a SF Lumineon (players could try to empty azelf/uxies from hand) Still a game loss?
Now let's say it's a Bidoof, still a game loss?

If the player says nothing and just has that card in their deck or in play, they're legal.
I think I've said that.
The problem is the instant that they make any misleading statement.

As I've said before, since people seem to not "get" the distinction between legal and non-legal, this is really something people should stay away from.

I can't understand why someone wouldn't just find ONE more slot in their deck for the Dusknoir as opposed to relying on a potentially meaningless (as in, the opponent isn't fooled, isn't afraid of Dusknoir, is ignorant of what it does, already has a 4 or 5 bench, etc. as others have already said) bluff.

If someone answers this post with a statement like, "But I only have one slot left in my deck, and I want it to be Duskull!," then that person should immediately have "A Not-Very-Bright Player" stamped on their forehead. If your list is so tight that you can't make room for the Dusknoir, then why are you even bothering wasting a slot on the Duskull bluff when it could easily be another much more useful card such as that 3rd Warp, a tech Devoluter, another energy, another useful Supporter, another counter stadium, etc.?

Actually having Dusknoir at your disposal is 100% more effective than just having that Duskull threat anyway. Try playing a while with the bluff and then trying playing a while with the real deal and you'll see.
