2nd!

Only 100 HP for a stage two, the attack, retreat and weakness are terrible. The body is good, but somewhat ruined by the HP. 3/10

Bad hp bad attack bad retreat cost and terrible weakness. Body is overridden by it's low hp. Current format: 2/10
Md on: 9.5/10

I like this card, although it doesn't seem to have a ton of potential. Yes, it heals itself every turn, and you "could" combine it with Nidoqueen to recover 40 HP every turn. But, even with Expert Belt, it has 120 HP, which puts a bulls-eye on it from the perspective of Luxray GL. (They can use Lucario GL to laugh at the HP, since it's got that pernicious Lightning Weakness).

This card, unfortunately, does not seem to have stood the test of time very well.

100 HP is low for a stage two.
L weakness is terrible.
No resistance is meh.
2 retreat is kinda heavy.

The body is pretty good, not the greatest thing ever but getting to remove 1 is good stuff.

The second attack would be SO much better if it could abuse DCE. Overall, attaching 3 energy to do 60 plus some possible effects just isn't cutting it. With a Belt it's 80, but even that for WWC is just okay.

2/5.

Yesterday's Bonus CotD was Ludicolo from SW...no. Statwise, 100 HP is bad for a Stage 2 (30 less than average), +30 Weakness to :lightning: is bad with LuxChomp running rampant, no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless: to Retreat is meh. Rain Dish is a nice enough Poke-Body, a passive damage counter removal every time inbetween turns is better than nothing and useful. Nature Power is meh at :water::water::colorless: for 60, plus 20 more if you have a Stadium out, or Confusion if your opponent has one out. As Stadium usage isn't super high right now, it is pretty much a lame attack...and did I mention this guy gets rotated in less than a month as well?

Modified - 1/10 (No use, even that Cheerful Voice one is better than this thing. Plus, you have less than a month to play with it anyways)
Limited - 1/10 (Hard to get out, bad HP for a Stage 2, only thing going for it is the Poke-Body...which isn't enough reason alone to run it)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here as well, there's a far better Ludicolo bouncing around unused anyways...I miss Ludicargo)

Ahhh, more DP cards!

100 HP is rather low for a stage 2. Lightning weakness is a huge pain, and the retreat cost is slightly heavy.

Ludicolo seems to be yet another interesting card. Its Poke-body lets it remove damage counters off it in between each turn; now that's one nice way for healing isn't it. The attack is fine too. It can do 60 for three, sadly rather expensive, but the effect can be pretty good here. You do 80 if you have a stadium out, while if your opponent has a stadium, you cause confusion. It certainly can be good against decks like Gyarados or Jumpluff (both of which rely on stadiums, and imagine how confusion can become a pain in some cases).

Overall 4/10 in modified, 4/10 in limited, and 4/10 in unlimited

Well, in modifed, this card is fairly decent. Its got a Poke-body that can be great for recovery on it, and combo that with Nidoqueen and you have really good tanking Ludicolo there. Moreover, its attack is fairly nice. It can do 80, or it can cause confusion, and this can be pretty annoying against decks that rely on stadiums. The problems with it, however, are that it has weakness to Luxray GL, and it may not be a fast card. Still, I find it decent nevertheless.

In limited, this card sees some almost equal potential like modified. The built in healing is a great help once again, and the attack can be OK too. The main issue with this card here is that there aren't much stadiums here, so it won't be that easy attacking with it compared to modified.

In unlimited, this card continues to be decent. Now, we go back to having lots of stadiums, thereby giving Ludicolo quite a good chance here, as well as the built in healing. Of course, it does still retain the same problems like modified. Lightning weaknness is kind of bad, and it is not much of a fast card compared to others. Plus, there are better Ludicolos here to use. Still, as with other formats, this Ludicolo still continues to be decent.
