here is a cookie buddy:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
yes delta can win the game but it really shouldnt unless the player playing boom has no idea what the heck he is doing and he gets nothing in his hand and he is half asleep while being blind, then theres a chance that boom can lose to delta
j/k j/k j/k
but really!!!!!

Delta is an obvious favorite here. Our World Champ even says he must get lucky to beat a solid delta player. You cannot take the first prize early on, as you always do in every matchup, otherwise you'll get scramble killed. Your only hope is to draw the Delta player into a low energy count with one prize left (no scrambles) and hit the ER2's. The houndoom lock is taken out of play by keeping the bench small, and getting a Crystal Beach to stick with all the stadiums in Delta (not to mention the occasional Tauros tech) is almost impossible. I've played this matchup as a Delta player many times, including 3 full games against the BEST Boom player in the World( He's Sooooo Good at pokemon). If two players of equal skill play this matchup 10 times Rai-Eggs wins 7-8.

Yeah right. I have a couple of points to make here billbilski.

1. When the houndoom lock is in play the opponent cannot put down new stadiums.
2. Delta almost always has a full bench since they delta circle with eggs and delta draw for a million.
3. Yes the tauros might discard the beach but then you just put another beach into play.
4. Who is this best Boom player in the world?
Those are my points and truthfully I would like to see your answers.

This list is much more consistent are cards such as Multi are horrible in this deck. This way, you have no combination of 2 energies which won't meet Shadow Chant's requirements; and Lass is nearly as important as Mentor in here; no joke.

4 TVR's are staples because they're better than Adventurer in this deck, since discarding after can mean maintaining a usable hand. Consider removing 1-1 Doom for 1-1 Umbreon ex, swap Reversals for Claw Fossils if you do so. Bandoom with Claw Fossil gets T2 40-50 nearly all the time, I've tried it. :)

RaiEggs is this deck's worst matchup, averaging a 60-40 on Bandoom if the opponent plays right. Tauros techs are uncommon, but can ruin your lock if included in the decklist. Luckily, 'doom shuts off Transceivers, so they'll have to have an actual Mentor to get Tauros out. Beating RaiEggs is hard, but possible if played right. Bandoom gets much better starts than RaiEggs from what I've seen, always go for Reversals on Pikachus/Raichus even if a fully-powered Eggs is attacking you; fighting resistance keeps him at bay.

The key to winning is Crystal Beach locking, or constantly Reversaling/Umbreoning lone Pikachus. If they begin with Eggs, the matchup becomes 70-30 Bandoom.

HINT TO RAIEGGS PLAYERS: Don't fill up your bench :D and if they don't play windstorm, load up on cease crystals early!

Well Hax I took your advice with the energy's but I like my trainer line so sorry not fixing that unless everyone sayd I need to switch the trainer line. So anything else.

If you don't want to change the trainer line, the Pokemon/Energy are probably perfect, trainers are all you can work on for now.

I only insist on playing 1 Lass; I can't stress the use for it enough - It's saved me in numerous games.

agreed and it works well with getting those rainbows which allow u to do that 100 damage.

The main reason I suggested removing windstorm is because you'll probably lose to Delta either way. Besides that's the only matchup it might be usefull in anyway. Windstorm is basically a wasted 1-2 slots in Boom against pretty much anything. I've found the deck to be very tight on trainer space as it is.

As for your current list:
-1 Sableye
+1 Banette ex
-1 Adventurer
+1 TVR
-1 PETM
-1 Crystal Beach
+2 Battle Frontier
-1 Farmer
+1 Lass

You Don't Have to play a full bench! If you do -- you will lose! Here is a scenario: Boom player gets the shuppet start while the Rai Eggs player gets a castform/mentor start. If the Boom player dares to knockout the active castform with a pikachu on the bench he is risking a retatlitory Scramble KO. The Rai Eggs player always plays with no more than one pokemon more than the Boom player, that way when the active is killed the stadium can be countered. I'm not saying Boom can't win, he just has to have alot more things go his way early on in the match ie. a turn 1 shuppet start, rainbow and a crystal beach plus the doom. It is an uphill battle if you aren't a better player or you can't get a couple ER2's. BTW the best Boom player is Jason K. - I don't think anyone would dispute that. I do have to make one aside here, Reversals could make a difference in the matchup by targeting the benched pikachu/Raichu early, but it is still a coin flip.

Jason is the best Boom player, based on what? How can u say there isnt someone out there better than him at it, no one knows. Yes he is probably the best player in the game but still doesnt mean he is the best at Boom. He is the best with mewtric but lets not just start saying he is the best at every deck that he plays because beleive it or not there are better players then him out there.

^Who gives you the right to say he's not the best boom player?

I believe he has won more cities with it then anyone else.

I believe he has the best list out there, because he is on the E4 and their superior deck-building skills.

yeah he may have won more with it but how many tourneys has he been to???
Also what gives me the right is the fact that no one can know who really is the best Boom player, only way to truly know is have a big match or something. I have said before he is the BEST player right now, he is te most calculated player right now but, it doesnt mean he is the best boom player.

It doesn't mean he's not the best boom player.

He has been to several CC's, and the ones he top-cutted, he won(Which I believe were alll but 2).

but meh, this is jmho, but we could go on if you wish.

I really like 4/4 on er2 and reversal in here, try to do that.
